War 2 more boring than war 1?

    So lately I've been really resistance to play war 2, I feel as though it's either two easy or just boring in all together. I've notice you can use mostly only 3/4 guns and do amazing no matter what AK/UMP/M21/ACR and all you really need is steady aim and you will hit 3/4 of almost every shot lol. The maps I understand there will be more but it's just the same. War 1, had I feel many more maps many more games and just overall felt funner and more I guess competitive.

    I mean in Legacy there were only two guns that were overpowered on every map. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Tbh I enjoyed Legacy more then War 2.0 since Legacy just felt like the right gamemode and was more fun with the chaotic maps. (A.K.A the Ray Gun being used half of the time in infected) Nuke wasn't a killstreak which (imo) should not be a killstreak. Legacy was better, but those days are gone, and memories will be made in War 2.0 :shame:

    Idk about that the skully was op, the raygun was op hell even the mini gun was op and if u had scav with any of those it was broken.

    Skull was the best gun in War by a mile. :v Mini was only good/better than skull and iso in cluttered maps, like summit and hijacked.

    One of the issues that I'm finding with War 2.0 is the map voting. It's a really good thing in concept, but with the amount of maps there are currently, we're always playing the same few ones over and over again. 95% of the time there's either cove, hijacked, cargo, carrier, or summit in the vote menu. People always choose these ones, and it gets really old, really fast. I think a lot of the older maps should be brought back to give more variety. I'd even be comfortable if voting for maps was removed, but that's unlikely.

    Another issue that I experience is with GG, FFA, OIC, and infect. Infect is horrendous as the zombies have almost zero chance on most maps. I completely refuse to play infect. With GG, FFA, and OIC, there's this nice little feature where people like to spawn on top of you, most of the time unrendered(invisible), meaning that you're essentially guarantee'd at least 1 death from the start. On top of that, the spawns are crazy as hell. I understand the whole camp-prevention and what not, but that doesn't mean that people should spawn 3~ blocks behind you.

    Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but these are two big things that make War 2.0 less enjoyable for me. Regardless of what I say, I'd still rather play War 2.0 over Legacy at any given time. These problems aren't enough to break it for me.

    we need 3 perk slots, then war2 will B perfection.
    and yeah, steady-aim is pretty retarded... (even though i barely ever use it myself, lel)

    Maybe level-unlocked or credit-unlocked perk slots? I think we need this. I also think we should be able to buy loadouts with credits as well but I know that donators are going to complain so rip.

    obviously perk slots would not be donator specific (that would be pure retardation tbh), maybe unlock with creds yes, maybe.

    I like War 2.0 over Legacy for the fact that there us much more variety and customization. There are more than just a few viable guns, more than just three killstreaks, and perks are all unlockable for just playing the game. It is true that some guns are stronger than others, but this game you can actually do good with just about any gun, but in Legacy I feel as if that was not the case.

    Kinda on/off-topic?:
    1. New maps just need to be added instead of waiting for them to be remastered. I don't mind that they want to remaster them, but just add new ones and then remaster them while we have them. It's getting pretty old playing the same maps over and over.
    2. I would also like multiple perk slots, so we can have more customization. This could bring new fun classes to help spicy up the game a bit. On this topic though, they should (pretty much need) to put each perk in 3 separate categories, instead of just being able to pick any 3, because that would be WAY to good. So like putting the best perks in one category, then the okay perks in another category, and the not good/bad ones in the last category. I don't even wanna imagine how broken it would be running around w/ an ACR w/ Stopping Power, Steady Aim, and Scavenger.
    3. @Corcustos DarkTitan said that us non-donors will be able to buy more class slots in the next update. (whether it's just 1 or more, idk. He didn't even know himself lol.) And yeah the donors may whine, but it's not big of a deal. It's just a class slot. Just make them decently expensive so not everyone and there mothers can get it, but don't make it too expensive where only the top-tier players can get it.

    I actually found it easier to use every single gun in Legacy than to use every gun here. Some guns in War 2.0 are just plain terrible and makes me want to do the tide pod challenge cry. I never experienced this problem in Legacy, not even with the first pistol/shotgun.

    I completely agree with this. It's painful.

    I agree with this too. Definitely need the perk slots, but should categorize the different perks to prevent too OP builds.

    Maybe something a little like this?:
    Slot 1: Lightweight, Flak Jacket, Eavesdrop, Marathon, Danger Close, or Bomb Squad.
    Slot 2: ICU, Bandolier, Cold Blooded, Martyrdom, Grenadier, or Hardline.
    Slot 3: Sleight of Hand, Steady Aim, Scavenger, Stopping Power, or Juggernaut.

    Obviously just an idea off the top of my head, but I think it would be okay, especially after some rearranging. There's really no way to avoid that "best" perk match-up without throwing too many into one category.

    Ah, that's good to know. The real question is when the next update is.. (lol)

    I don't know... According to COD Eavesdrop is a tier 3 perk and Juggernaut/Stopping Power is tier 2. Seems a bit out of whack to me. I don't think there's a single COD game that has all of these perks except for maybe Ghosts, but even then it's a toughie.

    Well they are mostly sorted into blue, red & yellow perks so even if some perks are from different-ish games don't think it should be too hard categorizing them...

    1. What guns @Corcustos do you think are "plain terrible"? Because to me, there are really only like maybe 2-4 completely unsuable guns (1 for sure) in 2.0 and I feel you can do good w/ just about any other one.

    2. Yeah what you did looked pretty good, and with a few changes it could be as good as it gets I think. To @Knaber, I think it would be smarter do by actually perk strength over what is in CoD, because balance. :V

    I haven't used them all since I'm not max level, but so far the Magnum, Mini-Uzi, MP5, Spas-12, and even sometimes the Model are annoying to me. I also find myself doing better with the Barret and even the Dragonuv than I do with the EBR. I suppose I can certainly use them and do decently with them, but it's not enough to keep my match KDR above 5.0 like I need it to be.
