Ice Bear is not taking sides but will point out some common errors the non atheists make such as circle logic the Ex. Why should I believe the bible? It is infallible ---> Why is it infallible? ---> It is the word of God ---> Why should I believe that? ---> The bible says so? Ice Bear says if the non-atheists want even a slight chance of winning they must be able to argue not using the bible and a specific branch of religion. Ice Bear has seen some flaws on the atheists' side but not as jarring as circle reasoning.

Ice Bear to remain neutral would like to point out that point 3 is a straw man fallacy a misrepresentation of OP argument by representing God as a Flying Spaghet Monster. Point 1 says that yes religion can be a dangerous thing. Governments of the past used it to manipulate people and justify themselves such as using religion as divine right however it is more people's fault for being stupid/ misinterpreting religion, pretty much religion as itself is fine but it is easily abuse able. ice Bear says this isn't refuting your point though one can argue religion has done good such as religions making many charities and "saving lives" (anti-abortion though this is a debate for another day.) Ice Bear's point is that religions on their own like many things are neutral on their own but the only thing evil is the people who corrupt it. Ice Bear says currently atheist side is in the lead.

    1. Colonial movement was significantly influenced by the idea that Christian Europeans have the moral right to force their religion and culture onto the natives. We learnt about this in history - the three Gs of colonialism. God, Glory and Gold.

    2. Yes, that's true. We're siblings, in a way.

    "They possibly struggled to repopulate"

WELL OF COURSE THEY DID LOL. It's essentially impossible to start a healthy species from just TWO parents lol. But if we assume that all other animals could do it - why not them?

    "Possibly killed off by humans"

Gehenna you can't use this argument to explain how thousands of species that we know existed don't exist anymore. Are you telling me that early humans went out and killed about 1,000 animals per day, every day? Including animals like the f--king T-REX?

    "Possibly killed by climate change"

Nope. The climate has not changed anywhere near enough in the last ~6,000 years to make thousands of species extinct from that factor alone. Not globally. This is a fantasy.

"No human-like creatures. No creature comes close to matching our intelligence"

But I just told you there are.... and this is an easily verifiable fact. Neanderthals were close to our level of intelligence. Homo erectus used fire and tools. To say this is not intelligence and these creatures are not human-like is either lying or exhibiting gross ignorance.

It seems to me that when confronted with a problem with your creationist worldview, you respond by flinging sht at the wall, and seeing what sticks. You have NO idea what happened - no way to explain your nuts worldview, so you offer up 10 possible explanations, all of which have been given no more than seconds thought, and display an unwillingness to understand our natural world. It's like when I asked how the Kiwi, a flightless bird, made it to New Zealand across 2,000 km of open ocean after being on the Ark that landed in Turkey somewhere, I think. You responded that maybe they all got on a log that floated there (LOL) or that there was a land bridge... Not to mention that land bridges don't disappear/appear without a trace like that, you can't have a f--king land bridge over water that is KILOMETRES DEEP. Ask anyone with at least a high school education whose mind hasn't been addled with creationism and they'll tell you - it is not possible for a land bridge of such immense size to appear and disappear in the space of a couple of thousand years without leaving a trace. It's just nuts. It's you unable to cope with a legitimate problem in your worldview so you just lash out with crazy ideas that have no basis in reality.

    3. Yeah weird. And Christianity's totally normal, right?? Anyway, why are newer religions more crazy? Do you prefer your religions to be invented by a 2,000 year-old desert tribe with sources that are unverifiable? At least with religions like Mormonism and scientology we have a clear history of what happened... because it all happened in modern times, the age of easily recorded history. Maybe that's why it's so easy to debunk?

Ice Bear thinks both of you are taking the Bible too literally as if it were a history textbook, though to be fair gehenna_beam did present it that way. Ice Bear recommends gehenna_beam to try a different argument as there is no common ground for the Bible because not everyone believes in it. Ice Bear says point goes to globalistcuck.

good work comrade. I only take the Bible literally because that's Gehenna's interpretation, which I am criticizing.

history textbooks are just as unreliable as they are man-made and humans are full of fault which means there's most likely a lot of error and misleading information.

Ice Bear says true but it is what we have at the moment and their information isn't entirely useless just because it has biases and made from man, but Ice Bear digresses. Ice Bear is still waiting for another point to be made that wasn't already said mainly to keep this discussion going and partially because Ice Bear wants to lampoon someone.

Let me answer this question for you. (I'm a fundamentalist christian by the way)

Atheists rightfully mock and think many christians are stupid, gullible, ignorant and what not, because many christians ventilate a faith and piety that's based upon literally NOTHING.

I'm athiest and I don't think christians are stupid :L, most of them are nice, but very few people take it too far. What you said is wrong. Am I stupid for believing in an religion? No, not unless I take it too far (umm, those muslim terrorists :L). Religious people like Gehenna_Beam are not stupid, and they are nice people, you can't just say someone is stupid and it is right to mock christians because they believe in a faith. That's racist.

I'd say that non-creationist Christians definitely aren't all stupid, they just have some stupid views... (i.e. the resurrection)

As for creationists, their views are absolutely nuts. Their views are moronic. Completely detached from reality. Does this make them stupid/crazy? Hard to say... Gehenna doesn't seem to be low-intelligence in general, but the things he says, like how humans hunted dinosaurs to extinction... these are things someone with severe mental problems would say.
