    I've already come to the conclusion why a lot of nonbelievers resent us. This is particularly from the humanist, scientific atheists. They are trying to maintain a specific order in the world, and they don't want us "religious nuts" screwing it up.
    There is another thing. I've been told Christians give off a light that is irritating to nonbelievers.
    Oh my gosh... Racist? :facepalm: This is a really annoying cliche. Race and religion are two different things! Islam's not a race! Christianity is not a race! They are religions!
    I have to say, very few atheists I've seen in my life have been generally kind and tolerant of religion.

    Christ was racist. (if you count Israel as a race that is) (FYI, No. Paul was not sent away to preach unto any non Israelite nations, all the people Paul preached to were Israelites, aka; the decendants of Isaac)

    Well I can understand that atheists get angry when christians are acting legalistic and want to bring the entire population back under the law of Mozes. Now the reason I don't support this is because A.) the law doesn't save (Romans 3:19-20 KJV) and B.) the natural man is bound to sin.

    For the love of God Knaber. Stick with the KJV rather than modern versions and conspiracy theories...

    Also, there are basically two groups of atheists. Atheists who just want to live their lives in liberty and militant atheists who just want to argue.

    Globalistcuck is an example of the latter. I know that when I reply on his comment that there is no such thing as a christian who rejects the Bible (creationism; the book of Genesis in this case) and the resurrection (a crucial part of the gospel), that he will reply with a lengthy post to me where he will accuse me of commiting the ''no true scotsman'' fallacy. Lol.

    Homosexuality is a sin according to the Bible. However, it's not worse than any other sin.

    Homosexuals can be saved by simple faith in the gospel like any other type of sinner.

    Oh my bad. The KJV has no quotation marks. That probably confused me.

    Also, Paul was sent to the Gentiles.

    ye i added the quotation marks just to signal that he was speaking.. :b

    Gentiles simply means "nations" (nations separate from the kingdom of Judah, at that time).
    If you look in genesis (look in the the Septuagint, since its Greek) It uses the same word when it says in genesis 17:4
    As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
    The word there used for nations is the same word that is used in Romans 11:13
    For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am theapostle of the Gentiles
    The word used in both places is strong's G1486 ἔθνος

    Since it's the same word in both places, lets put it this way:
    Paul was the apostle to the nations & Abraham was to be the father of many gentiles...

    I just think you just misunderstood what I meant to say. I didn't mean for it to be cliche, I just think that what he said is incorrect/mean.
    And, most athiests are tolerant of religion (like me). I don't know what kind of people you've met, but generally, people in my area are fine/friends with religious people

    No. Jesus was not racist. In fact He defied racism. Way back then, the Jews were racist, particularly to a certain race called the Samaritans. The Samaritans were thought of as sub-human by the Jews. Jesus met and spoke to a Samaritan women at a well.

    Does that sound like Jesus wants only Jews in Heaven?

    Romans 9 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

    In John 4:12 the Samaritan woman says: Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
    Jacob aka Israel... This woman was an Israelite even though she lived up north in Samaria.
    So saying he was defying racism when one Israelite (Jesus) was speaking to another Israelite (the samaritan woman) doesn't really work, maybe he was defying discrimination/Prejudiced based on geography but that's a whole other subject....

    ^ or you must think that this truly means to hate your family and yourself, lol.

    Paul was quoting Malachi there

    Malachi 1 King James Version (KJV)
    1 The burden of the word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi.

    2 I have loved you, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the Lord: yet I loved Jacob,

    3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

    Religion is an impossible debate, there's no point in having it. Everyone has their own view and should be allowed to have it, atheist or Christian, jew or muslim I honestly don't care about whatever the heck other people believe in.
