Bring Back McPvP.

    Hello,

    The thing is, I've been playing McPvP since June 2013, when I was 9 years old, when McPvP closed in 2015, I was 11 and after McPvP closed a lot of bad things happened

    - All of my friends quit video gaming, or they quit Minecraft

    - I lost contact with most of my McPvP friends

    - My favorite YouTubers quit or they're too famous now (more than 5 mil subs) to even talk to their subscribers. But most quit.

    In Europe, there's only 1 HG Server left, and in Brazil, there's 1 famous (theres still ltos of hg servers) left. The community became toxic and more toxic.

    You guys bought McPvP, but this is not McPvP, this is Brawl! The domains have completely died, you most likely don't have the European domain anymore, and what about the brazilian 500+ constant players playerbase? It died.

    You guys should bring back the old youtubers such as rinoranchero, bball0928 (even though they like Munchy more), to advertise the Server to make profit, after that, bring back the good old gamemodes hype, such as KitPvP Classic, Hardcore Games 2014 version, and Raid 2013 version. I miss the gameplays, the edits, the good old songs and I miss the 30fps most people had. When I say I miss 2013/2014, the thing I mean is, I miss EVERYTHING in that year, and McPvP has been part of my childhood, and I still miss it. Everyone says "Miss Kohi" "Miss HCTeams" but what everyone misses is McPvP

    What's the point of purchasing a servers gamemode and not reviving it?

    The last year I miss in my life is 2015, why? of course because of McPvP! I don't even miss 2016

    No, Brawl bought certain gamemodes from MCPvP, not the whole server.

    HG is often doing well when Miskey streams it, which he will be doing on Saturday.

    I'm not going to argue against bringing back McPvP. If we could get Brawl to over 10,000 concurrent players like McPvP used to have, we'd do it with no questions asked. However, doing so is much easier said than done. It's obvious what we need to do (i.e, get more players), it's just not obvious how we should do it.

    rinoranchero hasn't uploaded in over 3 years and, as far as I know, he hasn't been heard of since then. I could ask around and see if anyone knows what he's up to and if he's willing to come back, but if he was going to make some sort of comeback on YouTube, I doubt he'd be doing HG gameplays again. As for bball, his last videos have gotten less views than the Brawl YouTube channel; we'd be better off uploading there.

    I made a thread a while ago regarding advertisement and a lot of it still stands true today, in my opinion. In fact, Brawl getting more new players would be detrimental to Brawl, as we may have to expand our infrastructure to support more players. With our current monetisation strategies, we wouldn't be able to fund this.

    Soup KitPvP servers aren't nearly as popular as they used to be. Trust me, I'd love to see an McPvP-style KitPvP server again but it's be very difficult for us to get any players. Even when Hypixel added soup PvP, they ended up removing it because it wasn't getting enough players.

    The main reason McPvP's gamemodes were declining in players was because of the lack of changes, in my opinion. Raid was rarely updated on McPvP and HG's only updates were new kits (which people got tired of). Bringing back older versions of gamemodes will not be beneficial to us and won't allow us to grow a playerbase - we need to release new and improved versions of these gamemodes, not bringing back relics of the past.

    Capitalising on the assets we acquired when we bought McPvP wouldn't be that beneficial really. The vast majority of old McPvP players despise Brawl (as evident in the comments whenever we upload to the YouTube channel), and the vast majority of active Minecraft players weren't around when McPvP was popular.

    When Brawl purchased McPVP it had about ~1200 players on a consistent basis. The server didn't really start dying until a little over a year ago. It's been fluctuating between 350-450 players (at peak times) ever since

    Point is, Brawl 'saved' the gamemodes it did purchase from McPVP such as HG and CTF. You could argue that it totally killed what was left of HG (after BBH destroyed it) with a beta that lasted at least six months too long but hey it's still there. As for CTF it stayed pretty much as popular as it was during the last 2 years of McPVP although the playercount's gone down to due lack of updates, people moving on, EULA, etc.

    I miss McPVP too, particularly 2012-2014, but it isn't coming back and Brawl can't magically make all of the things that made McPVP fun come back either. Especially not with limited revenue, 2 devs, and a bunch of unfinished projects -- in addition to the dozens of fixes for virtually every gamemode you can think of. And that's just how it is

    Hardcore Games isn't popular if you need an youtube to stream to bring players.

    most of youtubers can be found on their social medias, like Gayz, about the old gamemodes, the thing is, mcpvp players would rather play mcpvp gamemodes when mcpvp was a thing than play brawls updated version

    Did you join mcpvp in the last day it was on? because everyday it would fill lol, in early 2013 player counts were 50/25/ in 2014 it were higher, sometimes 120.

    Buddokan didn't represent the brazilian playerbase, there were SO, SO much youtubers recording, and he was known for cheating so idk if hes a good representation for the mcpvp brazilian playerbase
