Accepted Void

    I tried to set up the map to look like it was in outer space, and as long as you don't look down and see the clouds, I think I did a pretty good job.
    The coordinates (you spawn above the void) are
    X= -1060
    Y= 234
    Z= -455, (the colon button is broken on my keyboard, so I'll have to do with equals signs.)
    The map is somewhat smaller than I wanted, but keep in mind that I've never built a map before, and this was done by myself without building plugins or mods of any kind. If anyone has a good suggestion on what to add/change to make it better, I'd be happy to listen.

    I tried to make every section of the map have something interesting, usually having to do with a falling hazard or breakable glass panes.
    The spots I want to use as objectives in the domination variant are marked with purple wool. The red spawn is marked with a Redstone Block X and the blue spawn is marked with a Lapis X. These are located at both ends of the map and are pictured in the Imgur album.
    Non-quickscoping snipers should go around the outer edges and break the glass panes, doing that actually gives a lot of room to snipe unaware players.
    That's about it, I wouldn't recommend more than 26 players total on this map, it would probably get really, really crowded with more than 13 players on each side.

    A UFO! It's awesome to see players being more and more creative with their maps. Good luck with the finish.

    I don't think you should of added the redstone cause it tends to cause lag on the servers.

    Wow man this map looks pretty cool :grinning: unfortunately the appearance doesn't count.
    Seems to be good for shortrange guns like shotguns or high-firingrate automatics.
    It could be a bit more detailed but nice work though.
    Is it already finished?

    I marked it W.I.P. in case I wanted to make any changes and since I didn't have an official name.
    Snipers are encouraged to go to the outside edges of the map, since all the walls there are breakable and you can shoot into the inside.
    I thought someone might say that, but I wanted one side to be unlit so people didn't could easily tell which way they were facing and the unlit redstone gave a reason for the lights not being on.
    Thanks, maybe I should name the map UFO...

    Looks good for Capture the Flag. Looks like it would be a good Domination map too. All it needs is a little more detail, and it would be perfect! Keep up the good work.

    Looks great! but it might be to hard to capture the flag in this because it is almost right beside spawn but awesome job! :grinning:

    So I added a minor detail or two (including a secret room) and gave the map a name.
    I decided to call it Void, since it's supposed to be in space and most of the map has a falling hazard.

    I was trying to go for a sterile, monochromatic look, trust me, it used to be a lot worse.
    The flag should be hard to capture, but you might have a point. Originally the underside of the map wasn't going to link directly to the flag post, but then I realized it was near impossible to capture.
