But I don't think u understand how we, brawl, and everyone else in the world get influenced. People get lots of other interests. Especially with this game. It has gotten so old, IMO, but it keeps getting updated. Compare it with GTA V. Updates incoming= Bigger playerbase => 2 weeks later = lower playerbase.

Also ... 'Memes' is the biggest thing, or atleast one of the biggest, in the world. People care much more about those than other things. This is why we live in such a F'd up world. (Sorry for the language)

Moral of my thread, 'Things come and go.' U had the time of your life for those years, try something new. Play outside, do something with friends and etc. Because I'm hella sure that the people in the future won't be able to live a life like we are doing now or back then.

 

Games get less popular as time goes on because more appealing alternative are presented? Unacceptable.

 

Reviving HG is not possible anymore, most players have moved to the GHG European HG Server, although the games usually get 40-80 players during thr afternoon, so not too much.

Back when brawl hg had a constant playerbase of 30-80 players during the weekends, it should have been returned to the classic style, meaning no hub, removing the sidebar. It would have brought some people back.

But instead, no-soup was added (and just looking at the kits, anyone with a sane mind knows that the HG gamemode doesnt work without instahealing soups). Also, unneccessairy things as changing the feast were done (Why was it not kept as it used to be?).

There is a hoster in germany, called Nitrado. I once, just for fun, looked for small servers i could join. And what i found out is, that 1.8 Servers are almost not played at all! 1.+ and 1.7.10 are very popular, but 1.8 is not. So maybe a downgrade to 1.7.10 is an option worth thinking about.

also there was a photo of putty in which he had a large stack of expensive shoes stacked from the floor to his ceiling so I think that might be where the money went but who knows :shrug:

putty uses it for shoes and some other **** probably

sure we still have a server and money to pay for game modes but we could've probably hired a couple new devs by now if they didn't do that
