Wild west is seeming to hit its annual all time low (other than exam week), but this time it seems worse. We've always had our downs in players, though never this low. Currently the only time we have more then 10 players online is the weekend. Even then, It seems like people get on, play for an hour and leave. Then it's dead for the rest of the day unless big fights start happening. (This isn't something new, It happens almost every late winter) And this is because of many reasons:

-Small active staff team meep dear god get jmod and help fuiji
-Dull / static gameplay: Proc drugs / mine, buy armor, kill or be killed, repeat
-Lack of updates (similar to reason 1)
-Loss of active players to attract others to play more (I'll elaborate)
    -OP / Monopoly teams
    -Distance between things
    -Time

    I'm sure there's more.

One of my recommendations to fix this is for all of us to try and be more active or get more involved in the community. If a hand full of people play it will attract more. The only reason I get on at this point is to fight (as do many others because processing drugs lost it's "appeal"). If that is the case, If we all try being more active, then more fights will occur and in turn more players. Yes, this is a pain in the ass, but if you're reading this I guarantee you like wild west enough to commit a couple extra hours to it.

But wait theres more! This ones a bit far fetched, but stop being so stingy with gear. for real. Its a game, It takes like 20 mins to get it back. If someone wants to fight you and they have 1 or 2 more people, stop focusing on loosing. You're there to fight and have fun. It's not worth all the hard work and time to get the gear if you're not going to use it. Plus even if you do, you'll spend more time on the game getting it back, which in turn gets more people on.

    side note
@people who play wildwest all the time and are active on the forums, apply for jmod it seems like they need you.

Please, add more ideas or express your opinion in the thread. I'm sure other people than myself would like wild wests' player base to grow again. I'm not trying to wait until summer smh
    Alright my rants over goodnight

I think that one of the most important things is for an update to take place, as well as a complete economy reset. The way things currently are people loose interest shortly after coming back. There is one thing that everyone can agree on.
The current eco is BEYOND repair.
After this I think things would be quite interesting. Even if the only updates were to be the team cap suggested by @Fuiji instead of the major code changes planned or map change, as long as it were implemented with an eco reset it could be prove to be a draw to players coming back. Not only would it attract them to come back, but they would like to stay as well.

In my opinion Minecraft is dying, because less and less people are going to buy it. The game market is just too big I guess.

FA accounts cost one to two dollars. Nothing really to blame but poor monetization due to the EULA.

@Fuiji no, but you see it on more servers. Some used to have constantly 20k people but nowadays only 5~k.

I agree completely, a eco wipe could make ww players want to come back. I can see restarting being fun myself! Hopefully we can see this being implemented before summer begins that way everything is prepared for our typical large summer PB.

Make the game more involving. Its biggest appeal is pvp, which is **** due to poor mechanics and lack of players. Honestly no clue of brawl is caring for ww anymore, I myself wouldnt blame them if they didnt, but at least let us know. I wouldnt mind helping to rework pvp and player involvement.
