/track screwing up

When you spam /track, you won't be able to press TAB to get a player's full name (e.g. when I say Ca and press tab I get "Carnotauros". ) This is very annoying if you're going to track someone, please fix it.

This is still live, I'd like to know if you've found what causes it or if you haven't started looking.

When you’re sitting on a temp-tracker or a tracker-tracker for a long time and constantly do /track.
After a while you can’t use TAB + [Beginning of a playername] and the only way to fix it is to relog.

This hasn’t only happened to me, Wurscht has the same issue.

Nope, stable 100 ms. I didn’t type anything else than /track either.

However as I said earlier, you have to “spam” it (Check my reply to 0racle).

 

If you sit on a tracker-tracker that's not a good thing to do if you want to find as many trackers as possible.

 

It is a big issue if you use tracker-trackers.

Scenario:
Player1 sits on a tracker-tracker and finds player2 on there.
Player1 wants to track player2 and warps to one of his trackers.
Player1 has a big tracker with many names coming up, which makes it hard for him to spot if the player is on there fast. That's why player1 uses [TAB] + [Beggining of Player2's name] to see if he's on there.

 

I don't think you get it.
A tracker-tracker isn't used to catch a certain player, you can't know who will show up on the tracker. Because of that, you can't enter the name first and then just spam that message.

You don't have the time to enter a name first (especially when it's a long name) if you want to catch quickwarps

 

You don't necessarily have to spam it twice a second - but it happens easily when you're sitting on a smaller tracker (i.e. a tracker-tracker).

A smaller tracker used to locate other trackers.

 

Yes, I am aware of that. However, it easily happens when you're constantly typing /track that you type it faster than once every second.
