Parental Issues

Hmm.
I hate it.
I spend a lot of my time on my computer, so yeah.
Sheesh parents.

 

Welcome to my world :V I'm 7-9 on the weekdays, and about 9 hours on weekend days.

 

1 hour on the weekdays, 2 1/2 hours on the weekends :V Good thing I can just go to one of my friend's house, he has a hella fast computer V:

 

Mehh.
I was grounded from my computer for a couple weeks because my grades were "Bad" (I dropped from a A average in 7th grade to a B average in 8th... My mother is not a smart woman.) Anyway, my grades "improved" (Back up to solid A's -_-) So, I got my computer back. I honestly have no idea why she sets her standards SO F*CKING HIGH.

Note- I'm not Asian, nor is my mother, nor my father, nor is anyone in my family Asian.
What the actual fook, mom.

 

Well you could play your game when none of your parents are in the house.

 

Well, I cant say anything about parents. The provide you with food, clothes, a bed, and a house. You cant really get mad at them bc they dont give you enough computer time.

 

My Dad is a complete pain when it comes to my computer, anything below an A worries him, then he screams at me that I use the computer, blah blah blah.

 

I get this too, just try to be super productive with your time.
I usually spend 15 mins browsing the forums, and the other 45 of TS3 and the servers.

 

I use my phone for the forums and I have enough time to play on the servers.

 

Why not do all three at once? And have skype up while you are at it.
Extreme multitasking.

 

I normally play as long as I want until my parents realize I've been playing for 6 hours straight and kick me off the computer. I suggest doing some productive things for maybe an hour or so then playing so it looks like you did something beforehand.

 

I've got it worse.
Instead of restricting my PC time they block almost everything, which means I basically can't to anything else on my computer. The worst part is: it's my own computer.

 

That just sucks. My parents restrict like 2 hours only.

 

The thing is.. my dad disassembled my computer one time because I got a 76 on test.
I later got my uncle to rebuild it and played in secrecy. :V

 

I never have enough time to go on the servers in the week and I just have a quick look at the forums.
In the weekend I have less than one hour.
This is why making my map is hard

 

Timmy, I suggest instead of arguing with your dad, you discuss.
Sit him down and look him in the eye. Try to present yourself in a serious way.
Say, "Dad, I' like to talk with you about.." and go into the conversation. You can't whine or beg for it.
Arrange a deal such as if you get a 100 on a test you earn an extra 30 minutes or hour.
You could also go to your trump card. Your mother. The mom always seems to have more power deciding what to do.

Oh boy, I have these problems too. I'm usually on my ipad when my parents don't allow me to go on the computer.

 

I have pretty much the same issue.
My parents let me play pretty much all I want (even though they hate it) as long as I keep my grades like, fricking perfect.
If anything drops to a B, they go totally ballistic, and no computer for the remainder of the week.

But then I just go on my iPod Touch and watch Youtube. Muahaha :V
