    I came up with this idea about, making alting bannable. This would add some spiciness on raid.
    Lots of people like tracking and making bases on alternative accounts. People wouldn't track on alternative accounts, which makes the server in my opinion more hardcore. You gotta be more careful with tracking and making bases.


    Possible solutions

    Anyone who does alting receives a ban. Lots of people like storing stuff on alternative accounts and that may be hard to catch him. My main point here is people would start tracking on their main accounts instead of using alternative accounts. The most annoying part of tracking is trying to find out are they alternative accounts or not.

    What's the point?
    Raid has far too many players to make alting bannable in an easy way. Imagine someone coming on for fun with a new account, or having a friend over, or whatever - instant ban.
    Plus, nobody really cares about people alting (UNLESS they're using an alt to evade a ban of some sort).

    You got my point wrong. If there is a new person coming up with an account, he doesn't get instant ban. If he starts using that alternative accounts just for tracking or storing like 10 p4 sets on his inventory and just logs on when he needs that p4, he gets banned.
    EDIT: Like I said earlier, there is lot of people who just tracks with his alt.

    There is 6 -1, please tell reasons why you don't want this to be added.

    It's easy to see if the alt is just for tracking, personal warps only trackers, and logs on tracks someones and logs off.

    Lame idea
    imo its part of the game and makes it more fun to try guess tracking alts. I do think alt banking is annoying but to hard to control and not worth the downsides (who even banks obby/p4 on alts anyway?).
    Baiting sub with alts for fair 1v1s is fun and would be ruined if this was added :/

    my brother only tracks when he is online and then logs when finished

    -1 it takes skill to find alts and can be fun at the same time. I think people would quit a lot more if their trackers would be raided more frequently by not having the access to alts. And as mentioned, this would be hard to regulate since I can't really prove that I have 10 alts or 10 siblings playing raid.

    Banning alternative accounts that have done nothing wrong is far too extreme by any means. Friends playing over, siblings - It's all too hard to regulate and monitor. Aside from the fact that players would have to be monitored closely in order to see if they are using alts for tracking, I do not see the issue with it. It has been part of the game since the beginning, and makes finding out who's alts are who, and then using that knowledge to your advantage all the more fun.

    Using alternative accounts for banking items on the other hand, is something I am against. Enderchests are disabled specifically to stop loot from ever being 'safe', therefore using alts to the same end undermines this. We are currently looking into solutions to prevent this from happening.

    Well if you ask me I would not like that, I know a lot of ppl who got another mc acc for present on birthday etc and they ain’t allowed to buy a rank so they would not be enable to track with huntslos etc (no afk etc)

    If you track with huntslos, It's usually 4 or 8 huntslos. 5 personal warps and 3 team warps=8 warps.

    He means if a whitename who can't afford a rank wants to track, (s)he can't have other warps like a vault and an afk.

    There’s a thing called : pvp-banks,afk’s,vault’s and you might want to be in a team and be eable to raid with teammates etc
