What if we amped up the prices of all the drugs, except Poppy and have one drug match Poppy in price.

I was thinking about the pros and cons of this and I see the con being there is a lot of money in the server but then again the server is less about money and more about just the fighting itself. I'd actually want decent input here because this is something that was kinda a thing during the release of WW.

What if we did it the other way around? Nerf all of them but still have one the same price as poppy. I feel like putting MORE money in the economy would be very boring. If anything I would say we need less money...

Only people processing right now are people who want the most money and the people who need it. I myself dont need to process as i found i can get gear through pvp, but people who want to pvp and need money are getting messed up in the process. The only time WW has done good is when there was "too much". Every nerf has driven people away. So I think that should be proof enough that isnt an option

We need to stop decreasing the amount of money going into the server, because as of right now, I don't even process for myself. I'm only taking out of the economy because of how slow and bad it is.

What if we offered a really high selling drug at a poorly constructed base that was incredibly difficult to defend? Then a mid price drug with an decent defensive position, and last a low selling drug but incredibly easy to defend?

I am all for this actually. Experienced players don't process to begin with and get enough gear from pvp. The newer/less experienced players who need money for sets, guns, pots etc should have an easier time doing so. As well, (as we talked about in discord recently) two different teams could have separate bases with equal yields.

Its not a bad idea but I don't think drug prices should depend on the difficulty of defending a certain base. There aren't really teams with 5-6 players online at one time anymore and therefore defending a base longer than even a few fights would be impossible.

I only see this working if it was solely sheriffs vs. bandits (and there were larger bandit teams).

It keeps in line with the risk vs reward vibe of the game. If an area gets too hot, you have to weigh the variables to decide fight or flight. Gear, who you’re up against, their skill level, your skill level, numbers...the list goes on. It promotes tactical and strategic play over strength in numbers, RNG, or dumb luck.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't that happen already? I weigh those variables almost every time I fight, how would changing locations(bases) change this for some people? Frankly most players don't know whats hard to defend vs. whats easy to defend.

The entire aspect of the game at this point is to fight. The mechanics are frankly stale at this point. However, its not boring, it just makes it harder to get gear as a new player because everyone around them is constantly fighting. I think this would be a good idea. It's easier to add than changing armor prices and messing with the eco that way. And, it adds in more pvp, but sticking to the ww roots of having to process drugs. It prevents it from being a tdm type of game and keeps the open world wild sorta aspect. I'd love seeing this added.

TL;DR no heavy strategy base in the game, adding it would
No, you actually don’t is what I’m getting at. All you’re weighing is how many geared players you have and how many the enemy/sheriffs are, NOT your environment. The environment should be something that makes you think more about how you defend or tackle a fight. Is the base and/or processor on an incline? Can you get around behind it? Is it shotgun friendly or rifle friendly? Is horse PvP (cough pyro) a viable option? Can you play passive and just hold attackers off while you process? Or are you in such a position that if you wait you will only get encircled and picked off?

These are things that haven’t been considered. If we have three-four bases with completely similar layouts and only a couple strategies work, everyone will just go to the best paying base, which is what we have previously seen and still see today.

Remember the whole sheriff cuffing tactic? Either wait outside the processor for one to come out, cuff-inspect-ticket then fight the rest? Or shift all the way up to the processor, then rush in and try to cuff everyone until you either succeed or get combat tagged? What if we had a processor that was completely open except for a little hut, and you had to hit hard with speed, no stealth? If the hut was in a little valley, and any attacker came in on a decline, the defenders having to fight uphill? It would completely change the meta of the game and refresh the content I think.

If there were to be a wild west reset, I'd really enjoy seeing this being added along with it. This would definitely bring some new players with the update.
