This was a command previously, but it isn't anymore.

To put it simply it's just a calculator but in-game which makes it extremely useful for tracking so you don't have to tab out for a calculator.

We had it before, but someone tried to count an impossible calculation like 983876767656786^87979768676 and it froze Brawl. That's why other servers don't have //calc available either

A custom command with restrictions on the numbers / operations would possibly work as a middle ground for this. It would be super easy to code and would solve this problem.

Restriction to 20000 thats enough for tracking.

Maybe with restrictions as brought up above, but as mentioned, it was removed because some players were abusing the command and lagging out the server.

There are still ways to abuse it and cause server lag, even with number caps. Did some research and it's possible to enter trig. functions and even run for loops. It's going to take a long time to remove all of the loopholes.

Running loops with very large and complex calculations was what people were abusing before.
A custom command though, allowing only + - / * operators should be possible, and I cannot see it being abused.

You should make it something more like hockey’s program+ that’s it’s a object you build-or only thing for ranks (abusing wouldn’t happen that much as well then)

Restrictions on operations too ^^^ key point in my suggestion as I dont see any way the simple operations can cause lag.

Takes you same amount of time to type //calc as it would to tab out. My calculator is better than anything that can be implemented in game.

Not really as fast, nor convenient. I have loads of calculators that can do the trick, but having something in game just feels a lot better (and is faster). I don't see why some simple (limited operation) command that I could even code couldn't be added.

I am using it and it is really good however as 0racle said a calculator like yours ingame would be over 9000.

If you play fullscreen, you'd have to memorise the numbers while tabbing in and out, so no not the same amount of time

A calculator has been added. This is only a very simple calculator, and is not nearly as advanced as //calc, however since //calc has the ability to be abused, this should act as a suitable alternative.
    Use: /calc <number> <operation> <number>
