Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak?
I am active and helpful on the servers, forums, and Teamspeak. On the servers, I participate in the games and monitor the gameplay and/chat. On the forums, I mostly view topics of the greatest importance and try to leave my opinion, answer, and or resolve issues to the best of my ability. On Teamspeak, I usually have my mic muted and listen to conversations while on the servers or forums.


Which server are you applying for?
I am applying for the Minecraft Party servers.

How old are you?
I am 14 years of age.

What time zone are you in?
I am in the timezone PST or UTC/GMT -8 hours.

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft?
My experience and knowledge of Minecraft is pretty broad. I started Minecraft during 1.7.3 Beta playing survival. I wasn’t technologically advanced and accidentally found out how to download Minecraft. Since then, I’ve been addicted and have never regretted purchasing Minecraft. I am very advanced in most topics involved with Minecraft. I’ve played servers from Hardcore PvP, to SMP, to Mini-games and I’m still discovering more.

What is your experience with moderating servers?
I have moderated a total of 4 well-off servers. The first server I moderated was named “OdditySMP.” This was a survival server that averaged 20-40 players at certain times in the day. The second server I moderated was named “Medieval Heroes.” Medieval Heroes was a factions raiding server that averaged 30-40 players online. OdditySMP and Medieval Heroes are now offline due to lack of players. The third server I moderated was “Eurasia Roleplay.” Eurasia averages 30 players on most days. However, I no longer moderate Eurasia because of my commitment to McBrawl. I could not get a picture of my rank, but I have a staff member vouching for me. ([12:06:55 PM] Daniel: I vouch that player, Brian_Coffey, was a moderator on Eurasia Roleplay) The fourth server I’ve moderated is our server, McBrawl! We get around 1500-2000 players average and have one of the largest server communities! Overall, my moderating experience is vast.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status?
I will provide many advantages to the Mineraft Party community if given the moderator status. I will immediately tend to predicaments that may be difficult or impossible for players to achieve such as, spammers, hackers, and people who give out negative connotations. On the forums I will lock topics when needed and answer questions with a more accurate and up-to-date answer.

How active do you consider yourself in-game?
I would rate my in-game activity a 9 out of 10. I spend around 2-12 hours a day on the different McBrawl servers monitoring the players and reporting rule breakers.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3?
I would rate my Ts3 activity an 8 out of 10. I am on Ts3 more than 2 hours a day, but there are people more active than me. I also have my mic muted 95% of the time, but I still listen.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums?
I would rate my forum activity an 8 out of 10. I am usually on the forums when I do not have access to Minecraft or I’m waiting for matches to end or start.

What do you consider your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is my professional decision making. I usually think about my decisions before I make them; however, I can get careless at stressful times.

What do you consider your greatest weakness?
My greatest weakness is how easily I can annoy players. Sometimes, I will be talking to people and they will act irritated. I cannot be certain if they are irritated or not; however, I have a strong feeling they usually are.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time?
I will handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time by informing them of what rule they broke and future consequences.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time?
I will handle the same person breaking a rule by kicking them with the reason and the final consequence.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time?
I will handle the same person, breaking the same rule, by reporting them to a higher rank of staff with screenshots of all 3 events. The decision will be carried out from there.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums?
If someone publicly proves me wrong on the forums, I accept my mistake and thank them for correcting me.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums?
When someone breaks a forum rule I warn the player if it is minor and inform them of future consequences. If the rule they broke was extreme, I link the post to higher staff and let them make the final decision.

I will lock a thread when they are,

- requested to be locked by the owner
- resolved
- starting to become a flame war
- totally off-topic
- grave dug

I’m a 14 year old male who plays Minecraft, moderates servers, and is very competitive.

Anything else we should know about you?
I am not a very secretive person and I share a lot about myself whether in-game, on Skype, or on Teamspeak. I give a very basic description of myself on my profile page and I’m a mature teenager most of the time.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with?
On mc-war, the steps I would take to resolve the issue of out of map players are as follow,
1. Identify if the player parkoured or used a hacked client to get out of the map.
2. Take several clear screenshots of the player.
3. Warn and kick the player if they parkoured out. Report the player to an Smod if the player used a client.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work?
I do know how the majority of the plugins and commands work.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away?
I do realize that if I am disrespectful or abuse my power, I will be exterminated from my position. I will also take full responsibility for my actions and there will be no further discussion about it.
