I Miss WAR 1.0

I miss it too

 

War 1.0 was very fun.

 

I miss it a lot tbh, I like it more than 2.0 in almost every way.

 

How the guns feel, the movement with shooting, bullets.

 

2.0 is better imo

 

Ice Bear misses the deagle with it's 3 shot high hip fire accuracy, oh wait thats the Five seven, Ice bear misses the python the two tap terror, oh wait that is also the Five seven. Ice Bear misses the cbow because Ice bear is a cheeky scrub. Ice Bear's only weapon at that time to even out the playing field against l120 and skullcrushers.

 

I liked war 1 better. Played since 2014 but not often. War 2 is better for the low lvl players. They dont get destroyed by iso, skully, law, minigun, c-bow, and others. war 2 my not be as good yet it will get updates in the future.

 

nerf m240, rpk and mg4. makes rpk slightly slower, mg4 3 hit head and slower, m240 3 hit head but faster. Then it will be balanced

 

To be honest, I miss War 1.0 as well.

Good question. Actually if I'm honest to myself - nearly nothing was better. We had less perks, guns, equipment, killstreaks etc. etc. The only good point about Legacy war is its bullet detection. Shooting felt softly, it was better to have no knockback, although I'm not sure if it's just the missing kb which makes it better. Oh and we had more maps and therefore more variety.
The biggest part though, for me and for everybody else (atleast I think so) are the memories. We've played Legacy War for years and 2.0 cannot achieve that kind of memories again.

Regarding the argument, War 2.0 is more noobfriendly than 1.0, I gotta disagree. I see myself as a noob in 2.0 and I'm completely overhelmed by the many possibilities. While I'm running around the map and getting killed by Lekosa's quickscopes and killstreaks (the good ones are achieved at an incredible high level btw, not that I'd even reach them, but I'm just saying) I always shake my head about people who call it "noobfriendly". It's not. Neither was Legacy, it was even worse.

But it got these memories.

 

When 1.0 was still great... Yeah I miss it too.

 

I for one have to say that 1.0 is loved by me way more than 2.0. If we were to do some sort of events for say, or something of the sort to let legacy live another day, what would you guys have in mind?

This idea wasn't greeted well by the 2.0 community but I think if it were to run while 2.0 is still up, all the people who preferred Legacy would be able to play something they enjoyed.

 

A 'War fun Sunday' for legacy, I would be happy to help out with it yet again. Its such a easy thing to setup, and it was popular even at low times. Im sure it would bring in players if the message was spread properly.

 

I'm going to try and see if I can get any sort of event(s) arranged to shed a bit of light on legacy.
