Technology Bitcoin! How to get your hands on it by mining Vertcoin (GUIDE)

This was Originally created for a server that's going to start accepting Bitcoin in the coming days and I thought that I'd paste it over here with some minor adjustments (taking out the servers name).


On stream yesterday playername was discussing the possibility of accepting Bitcoin/other cryptocurrencies. As a true believer in cryptocurrencies myself, I’d really like this to workout. So I’m going to teach you how you can get your hands on some Bitcoin with your gaming PC and then buy ranks on servername.

Mining

Many of you have high end gaming PC’s and probably don’t even know that you are capable of making money through participating in Crypto mining. Now it’s a hard concept to wrap your head around at first and it’s not necessary to 100% understand how it works but if you’d like to learn about how it works I’ve left a link at the very bottom of the page.

“So great I’m going to start mining Bitcoin!” Well… due to many factors, (that I will not go into detail about) mining Bitcoin itself isn’t profitable. My personal recommendation for new users is Vertcoin, profitable to mine with a gaming pc and extremely easy to mine with their ‘One click Miner’ You just need to set up a wallet, download the miner and with an easy 2 minute set up and in a few clicks you can mine (Short tutorials at bottom of page) There are more profitable coins out there at the moment but I find this to be the easiest way since I’m not great with technology. Note: You should only turn on the miner when you’re not gaming

Converting to Bitcoin

So now that you got your Vertcoin/Other crypto you’ve mined you can convert them to Bitcoin and spend it at the Servername shop (link to service that will do this for you at bottom) or convert to US dollars.

I’d really love to see this work guys! I see it as a win for the players and as a win for Servername! More and more gamers are realizing that they could be mining coins overnight when you’re not using your PC. I've even met old Mcpvpers/minecrafters in the vertcoin discord, like Sofa_king_icy and some HCF players

Thanks for reading guys, I think it would be super cool if Brawl would follow in the same footsteps as the server above, but I'm aware it doesn't fit everyones buisness model yet.

 

Heat is what kills hardware, if you can keep your system cool you'll be fine, many newer models are so power efficient now it doesn't even matter, but yes there is electricity costs that will vary depending on where you live.
