Idea Team Truces - (friendly fire off)

    Sometimes teams want to be truce so it may help if there was a team command to disable attacks between teams so that one team cannot attack another team.

    - useful when players want to perform activities with others of different team
    - useful for koth truce between two teams
    - Lager fights could take place in or outside of koth

    If this idea was to be put in place ( of course i know that it most likely wont be) i think one truce should be the limit per team.

    We might as well remove the team cap then. It was added in place so things wouldn't be a massive 2 team stomp on the server like before - this would basically recreate the problem.

    maybe it can be where the more dominant team is capping. there can be like a /dominant command and it will set your team the dominant in the teams your with

    Why would you want that though? I don't want koths to be once sided / truce fest personally.

    Hard agree here. Teams already truce a ton but this would effectively remove the team cap, making the power curve so much higher and in turn, would make it intensely hard for new teams to start up and compete at koths.

    Exactly this is the reason why i want "Koth teams" with max 4-5 players. Then also a team like SkiD or Flux or whatsoever could try to go for koths. I think about 5-6 teams are able to bring about 4 people to koth.

    Just give this idea a try. If people dislike it, you can simply remove it for the next weeks koth.

    LOOOOOOOOOOL i laughed so hard at this, the team cap could just be removed i still see 30ppl teams on koths (Legacy+Chaos+Skid+Yuh) oh wait it was 35*

    Koths != day to day gameplay. I'm working with anon to try to make koths more balanced and such. Nonetheless, the team cap has created a lot of diversity in teams already imo and worked out relatively well. Tweaks can still be made ofc though

    That would be hard to regulate and not really a good approach imo. Tbh I'm not sure if it's possible, but if there is a high incentive for teams to go against each other than maybe it would greatly reduce this problem

    The idea was to gain a discussion between people to adjust team sizes for koth or in general, an idea to see peoples views and i think this has worked. Thank you for commenting
