-1, sorry but your trees are very awful, your terrain is barely detailed, you took advice from grian, and that's now how waterfalls work

 

when building, i like to use a color pallette, you seem to like to just pick some blocks that appear similar but sometimes clash. your terraforming is okay, but I'd love to see that on a greater scale, it may be too detailed for a CTF Map or other projects. You're going in the right direction, and I'd love to see you as a part of the team in the future! +0/-0

Some builds look fine but most of the others do not - practice and get used to more different styles. -1 for now.

 

Although I’ve known you for long and your maturity isn’t bad, your builds aren’t BT standard level, eventhough they are good.
It’s nice that you included a bigger project but I’d like to see more of them and bigger. Try experimenting more things with building, styles and things.

Youtube is a really good place to find references to see what looks good and what doesn't, you just need to know who to watch. Grian is a good start, but refer to this (good yt'ers list by lekosa) if you'd like to further extend your abilities. Google images and deviant art is also an amazing resource for ideas and sick looking designs, it really doesn't matter if it's minecraft or not.

 

Part of being on the build team is being creative and coming up with ideas by yourself. I agree with everything stated above, -1.

 

You should try building a variety of styles. Most of what I see here is Terrain and some small structures. I'd like to see more variety and skill before I give a +1.

Hey Razer, I'm going to give you a -1 as well. Your projects aren't large enough, there aren't enough of them either and you've only added one build since your application last year. So my advice would be to build bigger and build more.

The reason I'm commenting on this, though, is because I'm really impressed with your big project. I think you've improved a huge amount. You're starting to understand what looks nice and what doesn't; you're trying out new techniques; you're finishing bigger projects. And while it's not enough for the build team yet, you've improved enough that I really wanted to point it out and congratulate you on it. When I denied your last application, there was so much you needed to improve that I had no idea what advice to give you. Now I feel that you've got the potential to join the Build Team - but it may take a long time.

Going back to my first points - your "big project" looks great, but it's actually kinda small, and there's only one of them. If I were you, I'd make 10 more builds of a similar quality, all different themes and all bigger. Challenge yourself, see how quickly you can do it. Build Team members could probably make something like your big project in 2 hours or so - try and aim for that.
