So branching off of @Ry23an and @Tuumai 's threads, I'll give my rough idea of an end game gold shop that could solve some of the issues based on these issues. My ideas here are leaning towards spicing up pvp, encouraging more team fights, and giving more uses for gold. I'm not going to be overly specific on these ideas, just giving a rough outline currently because I'm sure a lot of people won't like this and more so just testing the waters with this idea.

Team Purchases / Buffs / Upgrades:

    - Stand together: When more of your teammates are around gain bonus effects (resistance, haste, 3% more damage dealt, whatever - just something to encourage team grouping / fights)
    - Frenzy: When one of your nearby teammates gets a kill, gain a burst of strength / speed or whatever else to kill all the bad guys
    - It's not over yet: When one of your nearby teammates dies, gain bonus defensive buffs (resistance or % damage reduction / regen) for a brief amount of time (not sure on this one, but something when an ally dies would be cool)

    - More team warps
    - Perhaps +1 team limit for a very high amount of gold + have a cap of say 2-3 purchases of this

Personal Purchases / Buffs / Upgrades:

    - Lone wolf: When no allies are around gain a burst of strength when attacking a new target (60 second cooldown per person or something - yes, LoL influenced, not sure if this can be done here, but something along the lines of fighting solo and getting a small buff)
    - Flee: When reaching 2 hearts or whatever receive a short burst of speed (with cooldown)
    - Rampage: Kills give you a small burst of strength
    - Soul reaver: Kills grant you with a temporary shield (gold hearts)

    Items:

    - Thor hammer: Similar to when the gadget didn't work properly and lauched people into the air. Would have 3-5 uses, a cooldown per use, and a limit on how high you will get knocked (not very high)
    - Tether: One time use, would lock a player onto you similar to a leash for X amount of time
    - Icicle: 3-5 uses, freezes the enemy on hit for X seconds (perhaps a ranged variant as well?)
    - Pointed stick: 3-5 uses, blinds the enemy on hit for X seconds
    - Lasso: Someway to prevent players from running away with the other things, bringing them in towards you, 3-5 uses on enemy hit excluding missed shots.

*I have not included prices, but I would want them to be very expensive - especially team buffs. This might encourage people to team up more and group together, but it could potentially widen the gap between good / new players. Gold is really easy to get now and could really use some sort of spicy feature to help make Raid more unique. Standard soup pvp is slightly boring to most today, especially in a non-practice environment, so I think we should move towards something that would make us a little more unique (expect another thread discussion soon).

Please let me know what you think of this concept entirely - I didn't put much time into the actual details / balance of the suggestions, so don't focus on that too much. If you do have other suggestions for purchases though please feel free to add them below.

    Thx. - Oracle // Jake

Definitely not a fan of this. This makes it turn more into HG or some hypixel gamemode, not exactly hardcore soup pvp.

Yeah, but what is better for growing the player base, something unique or sticking to hardcore pvp (which is dying).

It's not dying, it's just the server that's doing a poor job for raid (not staffs fault, but a certain owner man)

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Pot pvp is taking over soup. From my experiences, it's hard to find a soup raiding server anymore, pot pvp is a lot more popular. Regardless, I still think that customizing our pvp and giving raid a more unique identity instead of *still* trying to work with this "traditional, vanilla, hardcore" feel and watching the player base decline or stay at a relatively low spot.

This server won’t get popular anymore, advertisements is not worth it. Just let this server die and go on with your lame ass life.

That's a rather lazy way out of it tbh. The server has potential, we just need to make it something unique, addictive and fresh.

soup pvp is not a thing anymore. this game is just dead because fortnite took over it. Unless if brawl makes raid pot pvp server, like hcf (probs not) if not theres no way to revive this server.

Now that's what I'm saying. We shouldn't be working with a dead idea (soup pvp). And I personally don't think much change will happen if we switch to pot pvp, so why not make us unique?

Then it comes to whether the current community will actually enjoy that more than this.

Well yes, but I'm also looking at growth. Advertising dead gamemodes or features won't help anyone. We need to have unique features to make us stand out and hopefully attract new players. Could this kill off some of the current playerbase? Yes of course, but so will having plain soup pvp for ages after most players have moved on from it.

Btw, I'm not speaking of my idea specifically when I say this, more so the concept entirely of a custom pvp.

As I said, it was an experimental post as I didn't expect people to like it, but wanted to test things to see if others were even remotely interested in going custom. Those ideas are EXTREMELY rough, and have no real guideline or structure / balance to them. My theory behind it was that (imo) we need to have more features (across brawl too) that make us more unique and appeal to current minecraft. Raid especially is extremely old fashioned and there are very few people who actually enjoy hardcore servers like this, which is a huge problem to the survival of brawl. We really need to branch off into a more modern direction imo, and I don't think this means just copying factions - a balance can and should be made between the two.
