    Hey all!
    I just made my first foray into gameplay-live commentary videos, on MC-War, of course. This first vid is a very rough idea of how my videos will work, and I'd appreciate any input you all could give me!

    Hopefully my banter will develop the more I try to talk while I play. Unfortunately it's hard to find time to make these, since my house is small and usually full of very noisy people. So far, the feel I'm trying to go for is giving people a similar experience to playing while voice chatting with me on discord, but in this first video I got hung up on how best to describe the way I play.

    Ice Bear says the commentary sounds like a teacher speaking monotone and instructional. Ice Bear says this isn't a bad thing because this video is quite informative.

    Thank you, Ice Bear! I can make my voice less teacher-like, but the monotone stems from my actual real life profession. I'm certainly glad that you found it informative, as one of my goals with these videos is to benefit newer players, but I also want to be more entertaining in order for more experienced players to find enjoyment in the videos as well. My natural voice is distinctly professional, but I will try to change that.

    I’d recommend maybe trying to think of something to talk about before you start recording so you are constantly talking and don’t have the (sometimes awkward) pauses

    I have thought about that! Again, this video was a rough draft of sorts. I'm trying to come up with a good talk format that I can work with as I play, since I feel that talking as I'm playing is necessary, as opposed to making the video and dubbing from a script afterwards.

    wow, nice work! the quality is great, both the video and the audio. your voice is somewhat reminds me of a youtuber but i can't recall who.
    so yeah great idea, I definitely recommend to make more of them. as proudy said, try to think about stuff you can talk about, but it is really just practice.
    ( I still dream about the day when someone will pronounce my name correctly ;-; )

    Idea: a compilation of me playing as different MC-War player stereotypes, such as MG4 noob, sniper, tryhard, shotgun noob, camper, ect? Or I could do a game as though I'm playing pre level 30 and demonstrate the old gringo style of being a pain.

    WOW gringo that was amazing. The quality of the video is superb and your commentary is clear and east to hear. It was weird seeing myself in it and looking at things I messaged so that made it even more entertains for myself. You should definitely do more of the videos. Keep up the fantastic work.
