In my opinion the xray check system is very inefficient and sometimes it takes more than a day for some players to see a raid mod online. Therefore i suggest adding an extra section on the forums to fill oit xray tickets with the cords of the base, type of base : Vault/Tracker/base/afk/....

Of course staff members only could read those tickets. With those tickets it would be way easier and more efficient for staff to xray check bases and players would not any more have to wait until they see staff members online.

If this is implemented add an automatic message in chat which helps new players to report possibly xrayed bases.

McTeams used this feature and it worked out for them and the players really liked it so dont see any issue with adding it. However to make this even more efficient Raid would need a 2nd SMOD from a different timezone than Eil.

I personally do like this idea but, the main issue I see is that not everyone uses the forums therefore leading to not everyone getting an X-Ray check. There should probably be a list of people that you know have access to the warp as well to evade someone getting false banned possibly. Maybe if there were a command like
/ticket <X> <Y> <Z> and it could pop up for Mod+ on the forums for them to check and go through?

I don't see why not, but you can basically just PM a staff member the same information and it can be solved that way. What I think the larger issue is is that there aren't enough staff who are comfortable doing xray checks / have the ability to rollback. A Raid Smod is definitely needed imo, as eel is quite busy and in a different timezone than a lot of us, and more staff should be trained on how to properly conduct xray checks while being informed about the basics of raiding / patterns of tracking and whatever else to give them a bit of background to base their decisions on.

If you ever need an x-ray check when there's no staff member online, you can message us on discord and we'll check it out.

My discord is TwisterPvP#1500 if you ever need a warp checking.

Also, if it is an non-blatant x-ray, it can take us a couple of days for a couple of us to come to a decision in some circumstances.

Honestly think this would be a far more efficient way of reporting xray or getting an xray check than the current system (pming mods I guess???). I think itd definitely be worth adding if it is possible, +1.

Once again: This system was already used on MCTeams and you knew after about 2 hours what staff thinks about it (xray/insufficient/no xray). They used this system although they had all day long at least one Admin/MoD+(SMOD) online.

I do agree with the fact that raid needs more staff members that can rollback. On MCTeams there were more than 6 staff members able to reroll. :V

Forgot about the people having access to the warp.

It is a good idea and harmless to add, but it basically wouldn't be any more efficient than it is now with the issues I explained.

I personally would like this addition. I know I don’t spend as much time in-game to see every possible player looking for an X-ray check, however I can frequently view the forums and see who needs an X-ray check, what’s already been reviewed by another staff member, and other information necessary for X-ray checks. I also like the fact that we could do multiple X-ray checks in one round even if the player requesting isn’t physically in-game at the time. However, an issue with this is even if mods do check and confirm X-ray we’d have to PM an SMod+ to rollback which could take a while, but overall I like the idea, +1.

/reportxray would be a nice command, this would basically send a message to online staff when reported, afterwards whenever a mod+ logs in the server they get a notification that there is x amount of reports, when clicked, it tps you to the base and puts them in poof, after xray has been confirmed, they click a check mark next to the report and then you wait for an smod+ to confirm it, after the smod+ confirms it, then it will rollback automatically, if a report is denied, the player who reported it gets a notification saying it was raided legit

Could go a little something like this:

    MOD+ Logs in:

*In Chat* There are 3 xray reports! *Clicks to open inchat*
    1. Eil - 6, 6, 6. [Tp to base] *Checkmarks are only available after the person has tp'd to the base*
    2. JayOG - 9, 71, 91 [Tp to base] *Xray checked* *In Chat* [Confirm Xray] [Not Xrayed] *Confirmed* SMOD+ Logs in [Confirm and Rollback] [Deny confirmation]
    3. AnonymousGalaxy - 1, 1, 1 - [Tp to base] etc.

Regarding the SMOD+ pm, you can give them a global notification that there needs to be confirmation after a mod has done it. I don't see the problem with making it so everytime they log in the server they can get it done. Making stuff faster and more efficient is always good for servers. Just like how reports should be, they should be shown more often. So mod+ don't ignore them, cause trust that some do sadly.

You're right, but a system like this makes it so the person doesn't have to be on all the time for them to get xrayed check. Plus a pm can take hours to be looked at, now they are able to see it once in game. Giving @Eil the freetime to do these checks without having to be rushed and spammed by pm's. He'll see it when hes logged into Raid and then do it. Another Raid SMod, sure why not. One handles community, the other handles the big man work a.k.a Eil.

Both ideas a great, but it really just depends on the staff activity still. As anon said, he can check forums more than ingame, but someone else might be able to do ingame more than forums. Pming them doesn't require the player to be on if you give the staff member the coords, but even still it can take a long time to get dealt with, and I think this could happen with any of the ideas implemented, simply because there is essentially only 1 or 2 people who can / know how to rollback bases. Like I've been trying to contact several staff members to look at my base since monday, and have yet to gotten a final answer on it - the communication is there, but its the outlying issues I explained earlier in both my responses. I'm not hating on the staff at all or saying they aren't doing their job, it's just that few people can do the needed actions, which is why I don't think adding such a system now is going to help much.

You could easily add on the website for staff once they have done the review a check box that asks "Does it need to be rolled back?" If yes then it could be sent out to all smods, if not then nothing I guess?

an automatic rollback is nonsense since it might occasionally happen that if a vault gets rerolled and the player is not online at that time it could get raided.

I haven't played Raid but I have played other servers like it that had systems like this that made it super efficient and less effort from staff giving them more free time. One doesn't have to be from a specific server to promote an idea, which is stupid and ignorant if you think like that. I know how Raid works, I was staff for 10 months, I think I know what I'm talking about. Not to be rude or anything, js, trying to be polite, just saying! XD OmegaLUL

Too many variables. Base could be moved close to another base, into an unideal area for the player, into lava (especially if it’s in the nether), etc etc. I simply don’t see it working out with all the things that could happen and I could see it backfiring.
