Random monetization idea

    Watch a 30 second - 1 minute ad, and after watching for an x amount of times, you get $x coupon in the Brawl store.

    Further: ad tickets. After viewing each ad you get an ad ticket. Enough ad tickets can be used for perks, can be cashed in for $x coupons, coupon multipliers, etc.

    Dunno, just a random thought ^^ have no idea if watching a couple ads will make any difference at all, and no idea how much money is being earnt per view, so you might have to watch like 1000 ads for $5 dollar coupons as an equal trade, so maybe this idea wouldn't work.

    no because the ads will probably be about how i can "create my own website with Wix!" and god knows im sick and tired of hearing about their stupid 'limited time offers' for urls

    I think its even better for brawl to give the players vote tokens for watching ads. That way they dont have a loss of potential customers of the brawl shop.

    hypixel has this, but you watch a vid advertising hypixel(genius) then get to choose a reward e.g 5000k xp, 5000coins.

    Why would a server advertise their own server for their own community :/ No money from that

    It would be a good idea as but there needs to be a limit of how many coupons you can get over a specific amount of time
    Otherwise I could just keep watching ads and save up for lifetime elite which is also a good idea :smile:

    What’s wrong with watching as many ads as possible? You getting lifetime elite still gives brawl money :wink:

    How much money would this make for us and how long would people need to watch to match the potential money the shop would generate (to compensate the coupon).

    I haven't a clue if this makes sense or if you know the answer but I don't imagine this would make enough money to warrant giving out coupons. I don't know how ad stuff works, but if it does generate significant income this might be cool.

    I remember MCPvP had a really cool vote-for-access system for HG kits and CTF classes. I would love to see a watch-for-classes system for many of Brawl‘s servers.

    Assuming this is feasible this is just more money for Brawl, not really anything controversial. Passed it onto SMod chat.
