Idea Killstreak ideas

    Some more thoughts-
    If filled with mistakes I'm on my
    iPad so please don't crucify me

    • Juggernaut/Tank/Bulldozer: This reward gives you a special armor suit that can resist all but the strongest firearms and calibers. You have a 40% movement reduction with this armor, but an increae to your health from 10 hearts (20 HP) to 25 hearts (50 HP). You are forced into using the M249 MG.
    • SpecOps: This unit has a special silenced MP5SD (@SoullessAngel_ that's the right name right?) and an electrified police baton that *instantly* stuns/kills anyone hit with it per melee attack. (Stunning is a state in which you are unable to move or fire a weapon. Your teammates can free you in a 3 second windup)
    • Sniper: This kit gives you a special sniper rifle (not sure what a more powerful large-calibre rifle than a .50 Cal Barrett is, maybe an elephant gun?) that deals AoE damage with an explosive round, however you only have 5 hearts (10 HP).
    • Riot Cop: This gives you an equipable riot shield that stops bullets fired at the front of the shield. You also get a small-bore, short-/medium-range SMG that you can fire through a slot in the shield.
    Maybe I misunderstood killstreaks though, it's been a while haha

    Juggernaut seems a bit weak considering all it takes is 2 sniper headshots from an msr shot to kill you which isn't hard to do considering the severe movement penalty.
    SpecOps: so you get an MP5SD what are the stats, is it just a regular mp5 if that was so no thank you I'd rather take a sniper ACR over an SMG. Even with the added bonus of a stun baton (which isn't very special ops in the first place) it will be rarely used because it is hard to get close in the first place.
    Sniper: Ice Bear says you need to go into detail how much damage and how large the explosion is. Either way this killstreak is VERY weak because you can die to a sniper body shot, 2 assualt rifle shots or a single lmg headshot.
    Riot Cop: Ice Bear sees a problem because of the lack of detail so how wide is this shield and what will it look like. Ice Bear doubts this one is codable.

    Ice Bear's suggestions
    Ice Bear says you have some good ideas but they need some refinement and also a set number of kills to get.
    Juggernaut: For this killstreak you have a 30% move speed penalty you get a minigun instead that offers the accuracy of a hipfired SMG but you have the highest fire rate about 2.5x the speed of an SMG also each bullet deals 5 damage or 8 damage per headshot.
    SpecOps: First off drop the stun baton idea and just go with an improved knife. This knife one-shots, simple. The kit comes with the perks coldblooded, marathon and lightweight, and steady aim because SpecOps likely are very physically fit and well adapted to their weapon. The MP5SD deals 5.6 damage body shot and 8.4 headshot has a similar accuracy to the M4A1 but has the fire rate of an MP5
    Sniper: Ice Bear says just drop this idea entirely.
    Riot Cop: Ice Bear says drop this idea entirely because it would be near impossible to code.

    Also, an elephant gun is a smaller caliber than a .50 cal. .50s were designed as anti-matter rifles, and were used to blow out the engine blocks of vehicles as well as breach light armor. They’re used as sniper rifles at 800 meters and further as well.

    The point of the Juggernaut is not to deal extremely high amounts of damage but to act as a choice for the enemy team - do they focus the tank and risk being exposed or having the tank's teammates deal with them, or deal with anyone flanking them and then having to deal with a walking bulldozer in their midst? I agree - the health probably isn't enough. Maybe this could be 45 hearts (90HP) instead.
    SpecOps is modeled off of Payday 2's Cloaker unit. These guys are very fast, very tough, can hide well, and have that instant knockdown mechanic. I guess a stun baton is a bad idea in itself since War doesn't have a revive mechanic as such, but I thought it would just be more interesting than a generic knife. The Cloaker has this special charge mechanic in which he jump-kicks a target to the ground. Maybe the person with the SpecOps bonus could have this sort of charge (similar to the Bayonet charge in Battlefield 1). As for the gun - faster fire rate, lower recoil, maybe (if this is possible!) a less obvious round when fired? So as to make it less easily traceable.
    As for the Sniper bonus, this was just a thought. You could have a powerful round that can flatten anyone and most anything with a single bodyshot and has a small splash damage effect, but you're weak to compensate. Maybe a movement speed increase would balance this out a bit, or not having any slowness when scoped in or something.
    The Riot bonus would be codable, but only for the 1.9+ versions, which obviously is a no-go.

    I had another thought, though - what about a grenade launcher class? Which gave you the choice between a single-shot M79 grenade launcher or a multi-shot MGL-140?

    Well juggernaut was a thing in war 1.0, but i dont remember if its in war 2.0. The way how it worked was that damage was reduced by 25% from all guns. That was when it was a perk.

    Ice Bear says it is in War 2.0 also it reduces by 20%

    juggernaut is already a perk...

    @ToughBadger I suggest you play war more to see what the community wants. not all war players use forums.
