New WarZ or New Gamemode ?

The new mode is wildwest renamed to WarZ.

I would hardly call this new mode WarZ. None of the elements from old WarZ are in the new mode.

 

well, the name is the same.

anyways, brawl might save some money from having to pay less for server hosts, however, the playerbase is going to die, especially now concidering the main income of brawl was from WarZ.

They are kind of trying to kill them self right now tbh.

bruh it doesnt need to be public information its a fact that ive played around 300 hours on ur server and ive mainly only seen mvp and vip ranks for warz being purchased no other bull****

In my opinion, though it has some key mechanics from both gamemodes, It's not specifically similar to either. Both wild west and warz were different and unique in their own way. Wild west, with its more RPG, slow, grindy, open world role play feel. And warz, with looting airdrops fights, and most importantly comboing. A lot of what you see in the new gamemode is diluted and "revamped" aspects of each gamemode. Instant eat, though far less potent than it was in warz, remains as the leading health mechanic, next to wild wests pots. All of the guns, although, many combo-less, are heavily based off of warz and some of course, wild west. Of course, theres now safezones, an economy etc from wild west, which makes for more interesting gameplay and appeals to more than warz's average PvPer. The new gamemode is meant to target a much larger audience and be easier to learn, while still sticking to its key, fun and unique roots. Though, each gamemode was different, it made for an interesting and controversial merge.

I understand a lot from both gamemodes was sacrificed for the new one. Arguably, warz more than wild west, but It still has a lot of potential and definitely deserves a shot. Updates are already in the works, #soon

It's okay. There are certain things I definitely enjoy about the new gamemode and certain things I don't.

Overally, I'd prefer WarZ back, but it isn't the end of the world with the new WarZ. It's odd because Wild West players seem to be the ones not playing the new gamemode (it's predominantly WarZ players from what I can tell) even though it plays MUCH more similar to Wild West than it does WarZ. It really doesn't even resemble WarZ at all to be honest.

 

They added combo'ing back get over yourselves. Pretty sure Brawl's income is from those 15 or so Final Fantasy things.
