Why not? Great way to kill time and boost revenue generated from ads.

It helps staff applicants learn from what others failed from, why not.

It was made private in order to give more personalized feedback which in most cases contains private information that is not intended to be shared publicly. However, I believe the admin's final response could be sent via a DM so the apps can be open to the public again.

I'm gonna disagree. When I was staff I really didn't see any "private" feedback that was secretive posted there - it all seemed mostly generic. At best, you'd get something like "improve maturity". Unless something changed between now and then (which I doubt it has), there really wouldn't be anything lost to opening those back up

To be completely honest I would love this as well, but the denial reason / message could be used to flame the applicant. For example, if I saw the denial reasons for carno's app when we had our issues, the old me probably would have... spoken up about that (just an example, don't freak out, note old me). But as speedcell said, the final message could be sent via pms, but I'm not too sure if roke would consider this worthwhile or have a "point" to it.

But then again, responses like this are hilarious to read hahaha

What do you consider your greatest strength? - when i can be a higher level than people
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - probably my weakness is when i am close near death experencie

Same, I remember making an application back then. With my broken English and my childish way of talking. Even I don't want to see it again.

Our access to denied applications was revoked when Cuddled promised to provide an "original response" to "all applications" regardless of "apparent effort." This obviously didn't happen, but they still took away our privileges to hide the copy/pasted messages that were used popularly as responses to apps. Now, seeing how Cuddled is gone and her thread promising the things aforementioned also vanished mysteriously, there's no point not to re-open them so I can read @tallscot 's and @Martyyy 's poor attempts at English in 2013 :^)

I’m pretty sure the reason they were privated originally was because people were flaming the applicants (at least that’s why they were originally changed so everyone couldn’t comment on them and only staff members could).

This was supposed to be the case but none of the feedback posted has ever contained any information "for applicants eyes only". To add on what Doges has said, the feedback has been the same generic sort of "work on your maturity/activity" sort of thing that has been copy/pasted on apps since 2012. And if this ever has happened I don't see why it can't be sent in a PM, like you said.

I read your app. Still not as bad as 90% of the garbage that get's posted there.

Also "I didn't know what I was doing" is not a reason to keep an entire section private. Especially since denied staff apps (i.e. yours, mine, or uranium's) aren't any dumber than certain threads in any other section of the forums. There's even an actual use for this, namely

I don't see why the section is still private. +1

and I was joking I don't care if the denied section is made public

I know. At least you used complete sentences and wrote in something resembling the English language. Always a step up from the norm

Maybe there could be two denied sections, one containing the spam/junk applications and one containing people who actually got somewhat close (this one would be public) so the community can see why the applicant was denied without having to sift through mountains of trash applications.

You‘d have to sort „chanceless“ apps that are actually posted by people who meet most of the requirements from the spam tho

Trust me you don't want to see that haha (Heck I didn't even know what a timezone was and I lied about some things). Don't tell me about my mistakes if you do end up finding it if they release it to the public. I'll literally die on the inside. And I would cringe so much that you'll find me with my face covered under my desk xD.

I'm not saying go back and review every application posted, but they could start doing this from a certain point onward and then move all previous denied applications to a separate section.
