    As of now the only viable perks are Lightweight, Marathon, Scavenger, Steady Aim, Stopping power, and cold blooded and maybe maytrdom. The rest aren’t very good such as eavesdrop or bomb squad here are a few ideas to replace these or buff them.

    ICU: Who even uses this? Sure a 40% regeneration bonus may seem nice but it only makes it so you regenerate when out of combat. Basically this perk just allows you to get back in combat quicker.
    Rework: ICU now provides regeneration 1 so now you get healed in combat and it may even let you tank an extra bullet.

    Eavesdrop: complete and utter trash get rid of this immediately.
    Replacement perk: Comando: As a comando proficent in hand to hand combat you deal increased melee damage allowing for a 2 hit knife kill.

    Lightweight: I did say this was viable but it isn’t as used as marathon due to the fact that it isn’t active when you first spawn. This perk now reduces fall damage in addition to the speed buff. Now, even if it doesn’t activate when you spawn in you at least have the fall damage reduction so you aren’t a player that is crippled by losing a perk.

    Bandolier + Grenadier: on their own these perks are too weak compared to other perks like stopping power marathon or steady aim. Combining them makes it worth using. Also Bandolier is changed so instead of giving 3 extra clips it gives 50% of your total ammo. This is a nerf for some guns but a buff to others. Now the MSR will get 23 extra ammo instead of 15 when starting the ranger will get 32 extra ammo instead of just 6 overall this change will be more balanced for guns with small mags.

    Juggernaut: Ideally this perk should let you tank an extra bullet but that movement speed rebuff guarantees you will get hit by that extra bullet. Why even use this when people who run stopping power completely negate your perk while being able to move faster than you. Just get rid of that speed debuff.

    Sleight of Hand: “Remember, switching to your side arm is always faster than reloading” yep very true especially when in brawl the switch is instant, so why use this perk? honestly I don't know a suitable rework for this one.

    Knifes in my opinion are already too op killing someone thats hitting you with a knife from a short distance is very hard the only thing to do would be to hit back but if it becomes a 2 hit you would barely win these fights. I do have a different perk to replace though, Engineer, this is a real cod perk and allows a player to change your own carepackage or from a teammate / enemy which is slower. (This could be used as helping a teammate or giving the enemy a hopefully worse package than they already have. Wether it should be able to hack helicopters and uavs etc I don’t know if that will work or be too op in general but could be done if you make it like uav 10 seconds to hack (you keep following it on your screen with your hacking device same as cod), helicopters 25 seconds and chopper gunner not hackeable since its controled by a player and same for ac


    About the Sleight of hand if I’m correct (on holiday so can’t check) this is the perk that makes you reload 35% faster and I use this all the time on my m21 so this perk is fine if you ask me

    I agree with the other ones though when I get back from holiday I can check some more of these perks out in order to give a better feedback maybe.

    I think this is a great idea, but I agree with @Prouddyyy , knives are already good, and if there are close range fights, a knife would probably win.

    Two things, mainly about ICU and lightweight. These two perks are some of my main ones when using shotgun. Shotgun strats revolve heavily on always being on the run and going fast, so these (as well as marathon) greatly improve your ganking speed and ability to keep going.

    Well you have to sacrifice a perk slot for comando would you rather deal with a 2 hit knifer or a stopping power gunner or prehaps a steady aim shotgunner.

    Ice Bear asks what you are suggesting then?

    Well I mean stopping power gunners are actually possible to deal with same for shotguns. If a 2 hit knifer comes around the corner you’re dead, both other options have the possibilty to miss. And could be dealt with way easier. IMO.

    Still you have to give up a perk slot to use it so you have to sacrifice potential mobility or damage just for increased melee lethality.

    What about just removing the current perk?

    The thing is when making a perk it has to be able to be as viable as other perks to be usuable so far the main perks used are marathon lightweight scavenger and stopping power and maybe a few others. More perks to use allows for a greater variety of builds this is the reason I'm reworking perks, to make them good enough to use so when making a loadout you have more choices

    I think this rework sounds good, but maybe have a perk where you can zoom in more? I don't know if that is possible, but I would love one that can increase zoom capabilities or something that can increase your ability to see the far side of the map. Maybe a permanent UAV for level 70 or even once you have prestiged? This would be pretty OP but I mean... if you have gotten to that point you would have earned it no? IDK I am just throwing some ideas out there. I like the current list of reworks by Ice Bear.

    So your giving level 70s free xray hacks essentially and making it so it takes less skill to play? Ice Bear says this is extremely unfair. The enhanced zoom can't help with player rendering so thats out of the option.

    Yea I personally believe the 2 hit knife thing is not a very good idea so we would have to think of a different replacement.

    How about this Commando: as a master of covert operations and highly trained in hand to hand combat you can backstab players and effectively hit people with your rifle. Basically you can one stab a player from behind and 3 hit players meleeing with your gun.

    Meleeing with your gun would be a good idea, I don’t know if the behind the back is even possible to code though I can imagine that being very hard/ not possible to code so we would have to probably do something else for that in exhange because only a melee attack option is not enough maybe add speed 1 when holding the knife or 2 hit with the gun but slightly slower hitting so it’s still faster than 3 knife hits but a bit slower than 2 hits would normally take

    I don't mean help with render, that is impossible. I mean have a gun or perk that enhances the scope of the gun so you see the edges of your render closer, somewhat like if you press C when you have optifine. It zooms in. this would be a good perk for snipers or something.

    As of now it decreases your reload speed by 35% swapping to sidearms are instantaneous so no matter what switching is faster. Besides, you reload weapons even if you aren’t holding them by the time you’re done using your pistol you already reloaded your primary.

    Ice Bear says actually this would be worse in most cases for snipers because it would make you very slow when scopes so your mobility is worse even when quickscoping also a larger zoom probably will throw your aim off more because the transition between scoping and unscoping will be too big this one is hard to explain.
