Idea Custom items

    I think some new stuff should be added to spice up PvP. There could possibly be an NPC spawn selling items for gold. Here are some of the things I thought about:
    Slowness snowballs which would give your opponent slowness, if you hit him with a snowball
    A wooden sword which would break armour quickly, but will only have 10 dura
    A rod which would somewhat pull players towards you

    There could even be other items, such as an axe that can chop down a whole tree, fortune 4, xp sword or other things that can speed up the grinding process. This would also make gold worth grinding. Very controversial topic xd

    +1, but what would the price per snowball be? and for how long would the slowness last?
    +1, would add another element of strategy to the game, but again; price?
    Haha yes, would make it easier to chase people. +1, and again; price?
    The Axe
    +1, would be rather expensive though and should have quite low dura (maybe like a wooden axe?)
    Fortune IV
    +1, and again, should be expensive with low dura.
    XP sword
    Yes, yes, yes. I love this idea, especially with 1.7 enchanting. This one should also have low dura and be expensive.

    So, if you're like me and like this idea: Do you think that you should be able to enchant this items? or should they be left as they are?
    In my opinion, you should be able to enchant them, as it's not that big of a deal.

    Meh, don't think you should be able to enchant these items. Maybe an upgrade system or smt :b
    I really don't know what prices would be right, but maybe:
    5 gold per snowball, which would last 30 seconds - 100 seconds
    30-50 gold per rod
    Sword price is hard to say, as the sword can be made very OP

    Honestly a very controversial idea, but the server won't gain any players currently. Smaller changes gradually changing this game mode to a faster paced, more 2018-fit game mode, instead of the same old game mode from 2012.

    -1 raid is fine as it. Lets remeber this is a SurvivalPvP not fractions. The point of evrything in pvp being vanilla with soup pvp is good.

    I can image p4 fights where people just bring 5 wooden swords to break opponents armour.

    or when its a 2/3 v1 in koth people use slowness to get the 1 person clsoer so he/she can be dropepd.

    1. "I can image p4 fights..." What p4 fights? 6 months into the map I've had like one proper p4 fight.
    2. KoTH's are not going to work like that anymore, js
    3. Raid is clearly not fine as it is. There are currently three players online, and that's how it usually is. Brawl is not going to hire any media, a reset won't increase the playercount for more than three days into the reset and the updates will only boost the playercount for the events. You say that Raid is fine, and I agree with you. Most players seeing this will probably agree as well, but there are very few people left. Raid isn't fun without any other players or any competition.
    4. "Lets remeber this is a SurvivalPvP not fractions." - This isn't a hardcore game mode anymore. You both have kits and you can get 235 every day by voting. It's Brawl's game mode and it has a lot of potential, so I don't see why everyone wants the server stay the same.

    Some great counter-points there, but can i just add that everything is dead, i couldnt even start 1 game of ctf today due to lack of players and to think previously it had 5 servers so 2 games can run at same time and theres variety of maps on. Lets face the facts brawl is goign dead. something needs to be done for all of brawl. and looking at other gaemmodes with 0 players on it just shows what has become of raid.

    Not just Raid fam, plenty of gamemodes need updates. Problem is more with staff members not doing anything despite their claims (with some notable exceptions of course).
    Honestly, I‘ve been pretty involved with a lot of servers and very few have staff that care so little about their work than Brawl does. Think of SimpleGalaxy - while some of their admins and mods were horrible people if I‘m honest they did at least do a lot for the server and stuff.

    How about something made out of emerald blocks or emeralds? Thye only really have 2 uses so far.

    yes, but maybe (a posibility) making a picaxe for example with 3 emerald blocks and 2 sticks, then (if its enchantable) enchanting it or (if its not) using a villager at spawn to add encahntments.
