The Dragon Eggs in Shop

Hey guys,

I don't like the idea of buying a Dragon Egg for 5 Dollars, it feels like pay-to-win for me. Since I mean, a 3h haste 2 and speed2 booster costs more than a Dragon Egg, which you can make an unlimited gold farm with. I just don't like the idea of being able to buy a Dragon Egg for 5 dollars. Eil probably wont want to remove it from the shop entirely, since he wants the $$$, but if you could maybe increase the price of the egg to like 10 Dollars?

But this is just my opinion, please comment if you would like to keep it like this (Dragon Egg for $5) or change it somehow, maybe increase its price, or remove it entirely from the shop.
Just wanted to put this out there in the forums to get the opinion of the players


EDIT : Probably most of you know about this, but to those who don't. With Dragon Eggs, if you find a spawner, then you can change the spawner into whichever mob spawner you want to. As long as you have an egg of that mob.

 

Even though I posted this, I highly doubt that they will remove the egg from the shop entirely, since people have already bought eggs from the shop, and it would be unfair to those who haven't bought one, if they ever want to buy one. If they're ever gonna remove it from the shop, they'll probably do it next map.

But as you said CalledRainer, if they were to remove it from the shop, it would be really unfair for the other smaller teams as well, since I doubt any team can beat SuB atm, and if SuB were the only team to have access to Ender Eggs, it would be unfair.

I can only see 2 solutions to this problem, the first one is that they increase the price of the Egg by a lot. Or that they remove Dragon Eggs completely right now, so that it is not too late to remove them once they become a real problem.

Sidenote : I really like the add of the Ender Eggs, but I don't think it can fit into Raid atm in it's state, because SuB is basically dominating the map right now. And other teams can't grow as big and strong because the player base is too low.

 

Okay, I wouldn't call it ''unfair'' but lets be honest, theres no team that can grow as big as SuB atm, since literally more than half of the players are inactive, and the 'big' teams aside from SuB, such as SkiD, Mel0n don't have a lot of members, and most of their members are inactive. Unlike SuB. And I disagree with how you're saying that other teams can grow as strong as SuB, since brawl isn't advertising Raid in any way, so the gamemode can't grow with new players, and like I said, most of the players on Raid right now are either noobs without bases or they're inactive since theres no real action anymore. Before there used to be teams of equal strength, such as during Survival PvP when SuB/M4FIA had rivals such as Hype/Legacy or Vanta/Sigma. And there used to be quite a big player base compared to the player base right now, and there was always team fights going on, during raids, when someone got jumped and stuff. But I haven't seen team fights for a long time in Raid, I mean, SuB doesn't really have any rivals atm, since they literally have all of the best pvpers in the server atm (mze, jeenss, cego?). I mean can you really say other teams can grow as big as SuB? Last Koth, the other teams weren't even able to take over the koth platform once, SuB held it the whole koth nonstop. And that was in a restricted koth aswell, where only iron armour and s1s were allowed. Think about next koth when probably all of SuB will be in P4, with 10ish players online. Same thing with the ender egg event.

Damn, I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore lmfao. But all I want to say is that, there's no team that can beat SuB in a fair fight atm. And there's no way for other teams to grow as big since most of the players playing right now are old players from SPvP and McPvp who have grown quite bored of minecraft or this gamemode. And since Brawl doesn't have the resources to advertise the gamemode in any way, there's no way for new and dedicated players to join the server.
