Idea What would you like MC-WAR to add?

I think it would be good to have a restriction on placing Sentry Guns in / near spawn points.

 

New maps are added pretty frequently tbh, when they add new ones they usually add a few at a time. I also think there are some 3D textures people have made but I'm not sure where to find them since I just use default.

As for other suggestions, I think new guns would be great and also my prestige effect idea :3

 

Here's my suggestion to make the server more noob-friendly and maybe more popular.
There are about 25 different guns but only around 5 of them are actually good. New people will not know which guns to use and if they use the wrong guns they'll barely get kills.
I think there should be 1 gun of each type (AR, sniper, shotgun, smg, lmg) and it should be available for all levels and 1 pistol. Killstreaks and perks can still be level locked. This would also make it easier to balance guns and not make the high level people more OP because of their guns.

 

Personally I think less guns would be better, by having better guns at higher levels it makes it even harder for new players to get past the learning curve and discourages them from playing more. In my mind there is two ways of fixing this, putting the arguably better guns like ACR and SCAR available for lower levels but then everyone has OP weapons and will be harder for everyone. Or change the game to be maybe around 8 guns. Two ARs one burst one tap, (AK and M16A4) two snipers such as maybe dragunuv and msr not sure about this as I don't sniper often. Two shot guns, two smgs and two lmgs. Then there will be a balance between all levels and the only difference will be skill promoting new players to stay not just join.

 

Ice Bear says that there is a perk called cold blooded where it makes sentries not shoot players with the perk equipped. Ice Bear says that the sniper default class comes with this.

Ice Bear says the war team is trying their best to balance guns in order to have more loadout diversity. Ice Bear says that high level guns bring more powerful isn’t meant to be. Ice Bear’s stance on balancing is if everyone has it would you beg it to be nerfed?

 

That would depend on how fast it kills someone.

 

We are working our hardest to bring more updates to war, but as Prouddyyy said, the lack of a War Dev makes it hard. We are always looking for gun improvements and possible new maps. The texturepack though could easily be done by the community.

 

I don't know if we have to remove a gamemode in order to add a new one. I think all of the gamemodes are fine, bar Infect, which we are trying to balance because when it's well balanced it's very fun.

 

enough of this and that. What really matters is, more people. More people. If there is legit like 5 players on at a given time all of this is useless and a legit waste of time imo.

 

Let's just hire a dev de code us some more players then.

You need to ideas and updates to get and keep the players. You cant just make players

 

OH MY where do i BEGIN!? Many many things. A single-shot AR would be great, high-damage low fire-rate, an FAL, M14 or G3. More grenades/gadgets would also be great. Claymores, Stun nades, Semtex/sticky grenades, poison gas. Unique weapons that don't fall into a specific category, Flamethrowers, Riot Shields, Grenade Launchers, Crossbows! Any and all of this could be great. Some personalisation, things like attachments and camouflages/weapon skins. More Perks, something like Commando (Extended knife range & upped knife damage.) Ninja (You don't make ANY sound.) One Man Army (Swap classes while alive) and Stalker (faster walking whilst aiming with all guns except snipers) Maybe you could swap out projectiles for raycasting instead? Just give me more guns! Aug H-bar, G36C, M1911, Skorpion, AS50 etc etc. The list goes on. Swap the skill ceilings of the guns around. Give the easier to use guns at lower levels, and the harder to use ones at higher levels, but the harder ones should be the most effective when mastered. I could go on but i think i've rambled enough.

That being said, although it's slightly difficult to take clear points out of that paragraph, I think it's quite valuable so thank you for writing it. Some of these things would be good, although I wonder why you need a one-shot AR that has a slower firerate but higher damage when we have snipers? I think it's kind of pointless. Other than that I think there are some good ideas in here which are worth considering to make the game more interesting.
