Change Koth

I dissagree with you.

I feel like the new koth system is working well and it was a nice change following up the new koth points system.

The Iron koths are quicker, more intense battles rather than having p4 battles every week

 

+1 If koth will change back to better system but -1 If koth stay as it is right now

 

The system that you suggested previosuly, I don't see it being good because people don't have the time to play for 3 hours.

And in the end it came down to who ran out of gear first or who got bored/had to leave first . I don't see that change happening. Do you have any other Ideas towards changing koths?

 

My thoughts on KOTH:

1) There should be an entrance fee (like 20ish gold) to curtail players who come on only for KOTH.
2) Each KOTH should feature a beacon with powers (example: jump boost). Something to make it interesting.
3) Add some form of damaging terrain (lava, tall drops, cactus, etc) to curtail kiting and force the use of tactics
4) Have a Koth where both dia and iron are restricted, and players need to choose between leather, gold, or chain mail
5) Give XP as a reward, and reward 1 level of XP for every minute Koth is fought (capped at 120 levels). This compensates for long koths where a lot of armor is lost and even the winning team doesn’t come out ahead.

Its not all good as Captain said. Not that long ago Vanta vs Sub had a 6 hour long koth. So you see what Captain ment

It is not. do you not remeber koths near end of map 3? People would just leave and the few odd people would come back or wtill be there.

 

Koths were amazing with old system
