Help Piston Elevators

    Hello again!

    So, I've been continuing my Art Deco project recently and I've hit a bit of a wall... literally. So I've been trying to install a two way, multi-floor piston elevator into the 'Harrison Building' (yeah yeah, I'm lame with names), however due to space restraints and my overall lack of redstone skill this has proven more than difficult.

    I've attached some pictures below. I've managed to get the up and down bit working since I only need it to go up from the bottom, and come down from each floor. A system is needed to kick the player from the lift at a selected floor however. This is where I have hit issues. I can move the system a few blocks forward if more space is needed, but I cannot figure out an intuitive way in solving my conundrum.

    I was tempted to use a flying machine, but I have next to no clue on how to use those.

    If any redstone experts are willing to have a look and maybe construct a more robust and comprehensive lift system I would be more then appreciative!

    I am not an expert at redstone but I think you will find this useful (CLICK) at building the elevator MumboJumbo is pretty good at explaining stuff.

    Seems like a sound design, but I think the issue is the need for multiple floors. Most elevators will not really let you out unless they stop or the shaft is disrupted. That is really the issue I've had...

    You could build the elevator for all the floors but that would take a while if @redslime can code a plug-in with MODERATED command blocks (unlikely) but it would be easier.

    Maybe you can one complete elevator contraption for one floor, and for another floor, just stack the elevator and rotate the redstone contraption around to make space or whatever, not sure how it works. You probably won't be able to choose floors but at least you can stop there.

    Yeah that works to you can build the elevator for each floor. Of course you can just have stairs and an elevator that just goes up to the top floor.
