    Quick question. Is there a chance that /random warps you just outside of spawn? What a disappointment that would be.
    It didn't actually happen to me. I just thought of the possibility after I tried to create a warp, and it told me I couldn't. It said I had to be 512 blocks away from spawn to do that, which was disappointing, because I liked the area it put me at.

    The command /random does teleport you outside of spawn (you lose spawn protection). However, doing /random will teleport you just distance short of x/y - 512, so you will have to travel there and set a warp. The reason why you liked that area is probably because any area less than 512 is considered war zone (or wtv it’s called) and you aren’t allowed to break or place any blocks which negates any types of griefing.

    I liked it, because it put me high in a jungle canopy. Also, I could break blocks. I broke a few leaf blocks.

    Oh well looks like you got lucky. I did /random and I had to travel like 100 blocks

    You're able to grief as much as you want, but the area which is within 512 blocks from spawn resets every 24h (or every reboot).
