Idea Misc. Item Ideas

- Remove 'flint and steel', or find a use for them with a new item. Right now, nobody uses them and they clutter the item pool in chests. Sure, some "trash" items are good for economy sake, but I think infection cures and blood bags already fill this part up.

- Make tents more useful. It seems like this is another neglected item (much like the hatchet), that could have potential to be made useful, but just isn't. Perhaps we could make it bigger, and add more useful items in the chest. Also, tents could include a new campfire idea as chickenputty proposed, that could ward off zombies from a radius.

- Re-add flares once PvE aspect is improved. If something like achievements for both PvP and PvE were added, then flares would be useful to fast-track some of those achievements. Rewards could also be given for achievements as incentives to complete them, which means more things to do in WarZ. I will make another thread on that.

- Remove boost pads so that ladders become more useful. Ladders were added during the grapple nerf to compensate for rushing higher areas, but they are pretty much useless with the addition of boost pads, a game-breaking item that have made fights uncreative and way quicker. They also defeat the purpose of traversing the map, using TPs strategically in close areas and chasing players. For new players, this item is a nightmare.

- Increase speed boost + duration of sugar. This item is widely used on practice servers and could have strategic benefits but isn't often used due to its short duration and lack of actual improvement in fights. This item could also help (not completely) compensate for the loss in traversing/chasing speed that boost pads gave.

- Fix parachutes or rework them. They should not break your legs while holding one but the slight damage from using one is fine. Also, it should consistently work. @Ritzy recently tried jumping from west tower with a parachute and he died, which isn't good for a solo player or in a fight

- Re-add special items to create a new economy, prot IV golden helmet + event items, perhaps an ultra rare chance to find prot I-II items in chests. I think this wouldn't be game-breaking given it's rarity and it would add a demand for collectables, and an incentive to loot (and purchase boosters )

Also, with the changes that have been and will be made, we should update the wiki and emphasize it in-game more, and add stuff like comboing, hotspots and team fights. Last update was 2.5 years ago.
