How old are you? - I am 18 years old.

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - I can speak a slight amount of german, but my native language is English.



What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - After being banned off of a server known as SimplyCrafted, my friend found a server known as Mc-War. I quickly became infatuated with Mc-War and joined the forums. I became fascinated with the community within the forums and Mc-war while it was not as filled with rage as it is today. I quickly joined a few clans and brought more and more friends onto the server. I eventually met some friends on mc-war that pulled me into a new universe of McBrawl. WarZ. While playing WarZ at first I was a whitename and while I was dead on all, I would go back to SimplyCrafted which I had recently appealed my ban on. The factions server I once loved had deteriorated into a simple 5 faction server that was simply... boring. So I went back to Mc-WarZ and played Mc-War occasionally. After reaching level 90 on Mc-War I decided it was time to quit due to my friends getting bored of it and eventually quitting minecraft. I took a small break of about 1 month to hang out with my friends. I came back eventually and played Mc-WarZ full time. I played for several months with friends from school, and several in game friends. One of them was named ehvahn who inspired me to try to become a mod because of his great moderating skills, after he was demoted we won more fights due to him not having to answer questions, which is one of the many responsibilities that is required as a moderator, but I understand this and would prefer to moderate rather than to play. I love helping new players find their ways up to better towns, giving them compasses, guns, and showing them the ropes. When WarZ 2.0 came out and flopped, I still loved the game. After a while, it became clear that no one had an interest in moderating it, and it had a very small player base. After teaching noob after noob, I got tired of people flaming them so I went for staff so I could moderate 2.0 and advocate for bringing 1.0 back alongside the new WarZ. Eventually, I got mod and was able to help bring back the original WarZ back. No one played WarZ after a while, but I stayed active. Eventually, I found a way to spawn in miniguns and enchanted diamond armor and 1v1’d friends in remote places of the map and then immediately threw away the guns and armor, but I was caught one day by Eil and was promptly demoted. I regret my decisions, as I could have helped WarZ so much more if I wouldn’t have abused. That was about a year ago, and since then I have been able to play the revival as a normal player. I’ve had a lot of fun, but most of the staff that oversaw the revival went inactive shortly after WarZ came back, and then just this week many of them resigned. I want to be able to serve the server that I am so fond of and help it maintain its current size and grow.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I was a moderator on Brawl for about 7 months.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I want to be able to make sure toxicity stays out of the new WarZ and make sure that more new players are being helped along with more of the new players staying because of a lack of hackers. I would also like to help run, build for, and design events for the WarZ player base.



Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes. I was banned temporarily on Brawl before the ban reset. This was due to my idiocy using xray, and Ritzy screensharing me, finding that I used it.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - I have been banned on Brawl for Xray, along with being punished in the past for consistently displaying immature and toxic behavior that I have had resolved for quite some time now.



What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strength is my willingness to help people, like certain old mods I will sacrifice fights to answer people's questions about the server, but I do not think this should be a "strength", in my mind it should be a requirement.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - My activity would be my greatest weakness. I rock climb a lot, have school, an internship, and a job. I am on at a lot of odd times during the day.

Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? - Mc-WarZ.

When it comes to monitoring toxicity, I think the main duty of a JMOD is to punish, WarZ has seen a decrease in toxic behavior ever since the revival, and I feel like it is more of a community now than ever. Also, I only post on the forums whenever I feel it is necessary (when I have something useful to say that will benefit the conversation) and considering the lack of threads, my voice isn't usually necessary. I check the forums daily, along with discord but I try to limit my voice to when it's necessary.

I usually play about 2-3 hours a day despite my schedule, but I am not on during a lot of the peak hours, mainly Friday and Saturday from 5-12 for work and I am typically outside all day on Sunday for rock climbing, but I am usually on around 1-4 p.m and 7-10 p.m EST.

 

Can you send me the full screenshot or the whole chat log so I can see the context behind my words? I have no recollection of saying that, and it might jog my memory.

 

Ah I got it, me and tallscot have known each other for years and it was a joke. Not toxic in any way, shape, or form in my opinion.
