If you do not meet the requirements (active, helpful, must have Discord, etc) do not apply yet; it will be an auto deny.

What is your in-game name? - Ibnc
Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - Yes, my account is fully secure and migrated.

How old are you? - I am 20 years old.
What time zone are you in? - CST
Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - No, I am not multilingual.

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - My knowledge and experience with brawl goes way back to 2012. I came to love this server because of the hardcore games mode and my friends and I would non-stop play this game. After playing hardcore games for a while I went to explore what brawl/mcpvp had to offer. Throughout the years, I have played Kitpvp, ctf, minecraft party, and raid. Although all of these game modes had unique things to offer, raid stood out to me the most.

I knew the second that I started playing this server that it was a game mode that I would always enjoy playing. Ever since discovering this game mode, I have always been drawn back to the competitiveness and the community that comes along with it. Although I mostly play on brawl’s raid server, I from time to time go onto kitpvp, party, build, and ctf.

With my time on playing raid, I feel as if I have a great understanding on how the game mode works. I feel confident that if a person were to ask me a question about the game mode specifically I would be able to answer accurately to make sure they understand it.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - My history with moderating servers is fairly decent. I used to be a server moderator for a kit pvp server back in 2015-2016. I quickly picked up on what was hacking and what wasn't not only from moderating on the server but because of the experience that I have with minecraft that started in 2012. I slowly started learning through pvp what was hacks and what wasn't. With this knowledge, I applied it to my time as acting as a server moderator which allowed me to provide the server I was a moderator for with accurate bans and fulfilled all moderator needs that I would have to do. With my success in moderating, I eventually became a server admin. Then the server was shut down about a month after my promotion to server admin.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - Well, there are many reasons as to why I would like to become a moderator on Brawl. To start off, the main reason I would like to be a moderator on Brawl is to create a more positive and welcoming environment to all of the new people that consider playing on Brawl and especially for raid. Don't get me wrong, this definitely is not an issue but I would like to be an additional player who could help make this server feel more welcoming to all who come. Which goes into my next reason, which is how I want to get this server back to where it should be with an increase in popularity in brawl as a whole. Some ways that I would think about improving this would be looking into many different advertising opportunities and different ways of encouragement for people to vote for this server. My main purpose for applying is to show that raid is a welcoming environment with such an amazing community that people should get to know. On top of that, I want to stress the idea of competitiveness to the new people that join the server and show them that it is so much more than what it is.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have never used a hacked client before and I never plan on using one. I see several times throughout the day on this server how people abuse this and it is never something I would consider doing because of the ways it can ruin a game mode.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - I have never been punished for playing on any server. If anything, it would be false bans that are on my account history. I would especially like to note that I am no longer active on MC with the account JuliaSoyuz. I continue to use this forum account because I am more well known and like to reach out to my old friends that I still see on this server. My account history for JuliaSoyuz can be found here: https://www.brawl.com/history/player/JuliaSoyuz . My account history for Ibnc can be found here: https://www.brawl.com/history/player/ibnc .

What do you consider your greatest strength? - I would consider my greatest strength would be my history and knowledge of minecraft. I have been playing this game on and off for roughly 8 years and I know that I will not be stopping anytime soon. My love for minecraft is because of the game mode that this server has to offer and it is evident that this will not go away anytime soon. The experience that I have received from playing consistently on this server allows me to be aware of what is going on at all times when playing this game. I can easily tell if a person is hacking and can give accurate reports on it. This knowledge helps me in game and allows me to explore other aspects of the game itself and learn from there.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I would say that my greatest weakness would have to be my lack of moderating in recent years. I know that in the past, I was capable of being the best possible staff member I could be when I was an admin previously mentioned in this application. But, that was about 4-5 years ago, so I have not been into the mindset of watching for players that are cheating and attending the situation that is presented. Despite this being my greatest weakness, I am sure that with the acceptance of this application, I can quickly learn and adapt so that I can get back into the swing of being a server moderator.
Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? - I am most active on Raid but as mentioned previously, I occasionally hop on MC-Party, CTF, Kitpvp, MC-Build, and MC-WarZ.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? - I have made 2 brawl staff applications in the past.
What is the date of the last application you submitted? - May 1st, 2020
Do you have Discord? Yes, I do. My discord is: Owen2153#0619

Anything else you would like to state? - I do not have anything else I would like to state but thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing your responses! Feel free to pm me if you have any questions regarding my application.

Would give you +1 but theres some stuff i think you can inprove a little in. First thing is getting alot more active in forums and in game too. Maturity is good and i think if those 2 were better you would be a great staff member

I agree that my forums activity could improve, but since there is not too many new raid threads it is hard for me to try and improve this. I usually check forums at least once a day to see if something new is posted. As far as maturity goes, I do not believe this is an issue for me. If you would like to pm me more about it, that would be great. Thank you for your advice!

Hi ibnc. Having recently gotten to know you a little, I think you are mature and capable of handling a moderator role. My only concern, as discussed in game, is your activity. I haven’t seen you online much this map but am trusting it’s due to our opposite time zones! Good luck. +1
