What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I have been playing Brawl since 2016 as part of the Raid & CTF community. My experience of both Raid and CTF as game modes however extends back to 2012 when McPvP first started and as a result I know the mechanics of each game mode extremely well. I have been a member, manager & coowner of multiple competitive teams on both Raid and CTF. I used to lead a CTF team called The Paladins and know what it takes to manage, keep the peace and thrive with a group of like minded players in a competitive environment. I believe I have the experience and aptitude to take these leadership skills towards something more productive and beneficial to the server. I have also helped to create many CTF maps that have been in rotation, have one of my own in the works on the Build server and am responsible for the "Valiant" Soldier Completionist tag.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - In 2012 I was admin of a survival & creative server between friends, reaching up to 40 players online at one time. There I learned to understand & detect various forms of cheating in the game (although it has since updated) and act accordingly. I would also moderate the chat, paying attention to inappropriate language, informing players of the rules and taking necessary action. Since then I have racked up a huge amount of play time on both Brawl and McPvP and made friends with numerous staff members along the way, always reporting suspicious activity and curiously observing their work.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? -
I believe that Raid in particular lacks active moderators in the EU timezone. I rarely see a raid moderator online until much later in the day and I am very active (logging in daily). I have seen regular players become restless due to slow response times for bug reports, x-ray checks, flame/hack reports etc. which is of no fault of the current mods, just that the time zones are irregular. I want to fill this gap. Assisting newer players is very important to me as I have loved seeing the player count rise especially more recently and having been an active player for so long, would be saddened to lose the server due to lack of players. I consistently help newer players by direct messaging and creating open teams for them to join and get started. I want to do anything I can to aid the longevity of the server and keep the new influx of players.
I am also innovative by nature and think I can be a valuable asset when it comes to coming up with solutions for keeping Raid fresh and exciting for both old and new players, be that with events or updating current game mechanics. During Map 2, I began a group effort with the help of team Mel0n to create a pvp arena at 6k 6k. The arena was surrounded by a massive medieval town and took a large portion of the map to build. Once complete this kept everyone entertained for the rest of the map and was used for the end of map event, contributing to the server's replayability. During the current map (map 8) I spent a week creating an expansive, unpredictable rollercoaster with the help of Breach player SimpelMartin for the same purpose, and has since received a lot of attention from the newer players wanting to have fun.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes
Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - Yes, in the past I have used x-ray and thus have the experience and know-how to detect potential x-rayers. I have also had some mutes and warnings but personally believe they were taken out of context and don't intend on breaking these rules again.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strength is my ability to remain calm in pressured/heated moments. Although there have been times of frustration, I rarely respond maliciously to negative comments or inappropriate behaviour towards myself from other players and place importance on being a positive & helpful influence, especially to new players. I am generally friendly with everyone I come across and I believe it's this trait that has made me relatively liked & respected in both game modes.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I lack experience detecting some forms of cheating such as auto aim, auto clicking & auto soup and am somewhat inactive on the forums (striving for quality not quantity) but given time I can overcome this.

Anything else you would like to state? - I've loved every moment as a casual player on brawl and made some great friends over the years. I see this as an opportunity to give back to the community and I am confident I can handle any situation as a moderator with a friendly, calm & collected attitude. Hi Iqn_ thanks for the feedback. In my defence I tend to voice opinions, share ideas and give feedback via discord messaging and have previously shared successful ideas on the forums. Although my activity is low on the platform it's something I'm going to prioritise going forward.

I've been a casual player for a lot of my time on brawl. I can & do speak in voice chat when it's necessary (ctf matches etc) and realise its importance as a MOD.
