Infinity isn't a number and can't be treated like one.
To say something "equals infinity" is like saying that it "equals a chair." If infinity is introduced into our number system, pretty much all of mathematics breaks down.

That being said, functions can approach infinity. This usually is understood as at that point, the function is infinity, but that's not exactly what's being said. e.g. y = 1/x approaches infinity as x -> 0 from the positive direction, but at 0, the value is undefined.

Actually, that's helpful. See, I came up with this name at 4 in the morning while I was searching my house for something to do. I just so happened to find my old guns book that showed hundreds of guns, their categories, and classifications.

I thought that a cool name like (MP5) would work. Then I thought it would be better with a K at the end (MP5K). So I went to change it and someone had already used it. So I added an underscore, and boom, here I am.
