It wasn't a literally /team with 9 people, but a team of players, probably across 2 /teams, with 9 people all communicating via TS. That's a real success for your plugin right there.
If you read the thread, the team system is an attempt (read that word carefully) to keep larger teams at bay. Ofc people will find ways around it, they always do. Cross teaming is a problem in many team based games.
What's important to realize is at least they have to worry about compass and friendly fire. Nothing they can do to prevent that. This system may not solve the issue 100%, but it's still worth having.
I really don't think the positives outweigh the negatives. On the thread about whether or not to implement it, I mentioned many flaws, none of which were rebutted. Can you tell me why any of these flaws aren't a problem?
