Do you, Tempur-Pedic Contour Elite, take this Serta Perfectsleeper in marriage? Will you support, comfort, and be comfortable together for the rest of your warranty?

I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU BED AND BED

    *marriage* bed??

Because the grammar in that sentence implies that tempur-pedic put a ring on it.

No, it's a Biblical. It means any activity between a married man and woman in the bed is absolutely fine.

Unless you have a passage : verse that says otherwise, which would be funny because then God's holy book would have a typo.

The Bible doesn't exactly say that. It's just you can do anything sex related as long as it's between a married man and woman.

I'm just pointing out your typo. Proper grammar is 'marriage' bed because otherwise you're saying the bed is married.

    But I digress.

I mean the bible certainly doesn't say "married" OR "marriage" because it wasn't written in English

"Married bed" was correct for his usage. Bed is flexible as a noun/verb, so how gehenna phrased what he meant to say was just fine.

I just thought it would be fun to twist the meaning.

If you use 'bed' in the sense of 'bedding a woman' then sure, despite the fact that it's generally a derogatory slang word.
