Idea Traps

    In real dayz there are bear traps, that you can place and who steps on those break legs. So lets have theese in mc warz. Bear traps would be retextured pressure plates that break bones, make bleed. Damage is different acording what material boots you wear: leather boots: 3 hearts, iron:2.5, diamond:2.
    You could find those in t3 and up zones, spawning 5% often than molotovs in pairs.
    You could destroy bear traps shooting, exploading or throwing flares on them

    It's a good idea, however, in places like the holding station at East Airfield, people would be able to just camp and set up there bear traps at the only entrance into that place. Maybe some sort of way to deactivate them could be added also.

    I don't think this idea is any good. All it does is break your legs and make you bleed.
    Maybe add something unique about it so it can actually be useful.

    Its like berbed wire but better and rarer. Barbed wire doesnt have anything special too.

    Yes it does, it can be a barrier of defense and can do 3 hearts.
    A bear trap as you said, can only make you bleed and make your legs break. :frowning:
