    I was on earlier today and thought that locks would be a cool addition to WarZ. You right click doors with a lock to lock them. To unlock them, right click them with they key that you received when locking the door. The locks can be iron ingots, and keys could be sticks.

    Details about locks:
    • you can open other locked doors if you have a key
    • locks are found in all zones, but have a low spawn rate
    • locks cannot be stacked
    • locks and keys are limited to 5 uses
    Uses:
    • escaping enemies
    • locking out those pesky zombies
    • protection while AFKing
    • trapping players

    Well can you imagine locking out the doors of every building in a certain area? I do agree with this however because locks have a low spawn rate.

    The locked doors would reset after every restart.

    Sounds amazing, except at the same time not. Lock picks would have to be implemented as said
    or there would be people camping nether. (Hint hint, flare on the open door, lock it closed, lock the other closed, both from inside.) People could camp almost anywhere with it and it'd be difficult for people to get them. So lockpicks? They cannot have a low spawn rate. Maybe dropped by zombies with a rate of 1-10? 1 being the lockpick, 10 the zombies killed.

    I think it would be nice if you could find keys in all areas, but those keys only lead to that area :V

    I like this. Would be useful whem im looting a town and i am afk for 2 min because I have to take the dog out. I have lost so much gear because I died while afk for 30 seconds.

    So would every door be an iron door only accesable using a lock/key?
