    Hello peoples! This is a map I built called "Frozen Pole" It is a custom map built by hand. (didn't use WorldEdit on the mountains) My objective was to make some sort of map that would encourage more people to use sniper rifles. Even tho this map is generally leaning towards snipers rifles, it would also be good game-play for any gun as I have added a tree line, plenty of little snow walls, and a few buildings here and there.

    The terrain seems pretty good, but there really should be some buildings to stick with more of the CoD feel. In addition, there needs to be some walls around the map too. For the walls, try not to make it just a simple one block wall because that would be kind of plain. Or you could try fencing off the area; just make sure no one can go OOM. Keep working on it and I'll give you my thumbs up.

    P.S. Think about changing the map name. There's already a map submission called Operation
    Whiteout.

    A lot to plain, the most maps are citys or something industrial.
    On this map snipers would be way too OP. Its also pretty small.

    Add more buildings and it will be fine, right now all I see is snow and tree's.

    As others said, add more buildings and decorations, like a fallen tree, etc. So far, I am undecided. Show me the final product, and I'll most likely say Yes.

    Structure = Needs Improvement

    Although I like where the idea is coming from, it needs more structures. I see you have one side a bunker area, which is good, but maybe give the other team a few structures as well? If it's suppose to be in a snow area, maybe add a ski lodge or log cabin behind the tree lines. Also, add some decoration to the mountain, maybe by adding smaller buildings. Keep up the good work.

    Guys like I said "didn't use WorldEdit" so don't be saying it has nothing. That really just says you don't appreciate all the work I put into it. Im adding buildings as we speak.

    Hell yeah! I really like this map and its idea.
    But as the others already explained, maybe you can add more decoration, like vehicles, a mountain shelter, more trees, ...
    But basically it's good!

    Looks nice, I really like how you made the mountain! (I'm the guy who is currently working on Operation Whiteout, so yeah) Although, as others have said, it's rather bland, and I think it could be bigger.

    It is really confined and packed tight.
    I feel it should be wider and longer.
    Snipers can climb the mountain and spray in the valley, or never get touched in infected.

    Okay guys thanks for all the suggestions! I've come up with an idea now, I'm extending it to make it look more like a rectangle, The middle is going to have a town, I'm going to add cars, maybe add a ravine and maybe an underground bunker. Anything else please feel free to comment it NICELY please and thank you.
    I broke my right arm yesterday 4/17/2014 so this build will be a slow process as i find it very hard to grip my mouse. I will still continue what i have already committed to and finish this build. Broken arm or not. I just wanted to let every one know that this isn't something that is going to be done tomorrow, It may take a week or two.

    take that back! i just went to bestbuy to get a small mouse that my cast wont get in the way of so this should be done tomorrow. YAAAAYYY! If you are having the same problem with a cast im now using a "Clickit! Classic" its a pretty cheep mouse.
    DONE!!!!!!! Hope you guys like it. Only constructive criticism.
    Also changed the name to Frozen Pole!

    I think this map will come around very nicely when it is done :smile:
    Just make sure to add cover as mc-war is a pretty hectic game!
