Root Vegetables

    So my friend at this school has to write an 8 page essay about anything they want. They decided to do it on root vegetables. For those of you wondering, this is a list of some of the basic root vegetables:
    • Carrots
    • Ginger
    • Horseradish
    • Parsnip
    • Potatoes
    • Radishes
    • Turnip
    • Yam
    I basically need a quote about anything having to do with root vegetables. This does not need to be serious at all. For example, here is a quote from someone at school:

    "What the hells is a rutabaga?"

    And one from one of my teachers:

    "Potatoes taste good."

    It can be anything that deals with root vegetables, serious, funny, or flat out stupid. It doesn't matter if it is long or short, just anything that has to do with root vegetables. Hopefully I can get some more quotes for my friend.

    Just a note from experience: Don't microwave potatoes, especially if you happen to be eating them at the time.
