I don't know if this is a bug but sometimes when the warz lag is getting pretty bad I lag out. This has happened to me about two times now and when I log back on I am dead. If anyone could help me and tell me why this happens because I have not been server hopping and I was not tagged when that happened.

When you lag, are you often times in a mob of zombies?

Yea, sometimes. But the other times, I am not around any zombies and I still die.

If you are in a mob of zombies, it is often times due to the damage they inflict on you that causes your death.
When you are not around, you may bleed to death, or someone found you and killed you.

Lag is mostly caused by a high render distance or when many others are using your WIFI.

A way to reduce lag: Go to options > Video Settings > And then render distance. Turn your render distance lower and turn clouds off, graphics to fast, and view bobbing: Off. Hopefully, this should reduce lag for your PC.

Another tip: Download and install OptiFine. I downloaded it a few days ago and I am impressed by what it has done.

I don't get that, it's probably your WI-FI connection, check it or maybe it's just your computer so I suggest you watch this video for reducing lag:

I get this too, and only on warz. When I play mc-war or the survival server or any other server I don't get this. I just freeze and unfreeze dead in like 20 seconds.

High render distances would only dent your frame rate. I'm guessing the problem here is that the game completely freezes. Which would be due from an interrupted connection. When you're lagged out (frozen) you will still be ingame for about 20 seconds or so, before the server naturally disconnects you. During this period zombies and players can still hurt you. Also, If you lag out and a zombie doesn't kill you but damages you during the 20 s or so, you can be tagged for combat logging, which will kill you the next time you rejoin.

It's not a frame rate issue, I usually get around 120 fps when not recording. And my ping at the time was around 100-150 ms.

Then it is really just a network issue.

When you freeze your player entity is still there, so mobs, compasses, etc will still see you, so that can be a reason why.

Every 30000milliseconds or 30 seconds your game pings the minecraft server, if you receive no connection from the server after 30 sec only then would you be logged out. So even when you're lagging and dc you have to get a ping response from the server at that moment in order to logout safely.

This can be on your side, otherwise it may be an issue in the network or the warz servers themselves.
