    When I first joined the forum, I didn't really care about being the top poster. As I became more active and involved in discussions more often, my post count grew until I was 6th top poster. That marked the point where I actually cared about being in the top, so I kept posting even more (in a non-bad spammy way) to maintain my spot. Gamemaster and I kept tieing for 6th until he couldn't compete with me anymore. I overtook him, booflame, and eventually Dreadlordscousin when he became inactive. Basically, I kept up this pattern until I passed teawithchoco for first place (thank god he was inactive for a week).
