Gun buffs and nerfs

    This is the thread that I finally have gotten around to making. Here are all the gun buffs and nerfs that I could think off. (im not doing smgs)

    pistols:

    usp45- none

    m9- none

    magnum- A slight damage buff is all this gun needs.

    desert eagle- none

    executioner- This thing sucks but its only used by people in onein so no buff or nerf for this one.

    python- reduce the clip size to 6 and give it a tiny fire-rate nerf

    Snipers:

    L118- Ammo nerf.

    Dragonov- Slight fire-rate and damage nerf

    Barret 50.- when a lvl 16 sniper is worse than the starter sniper we have a problem. Damage buff or clip buff.

    msr- none

    iso- ammo nerf

    disassembler- none, maybe firerate buff. Idk

    Automatics:

    m4a1- Fire-rate buff

    ak-47- none

    famas- none

    lemanation- none

    Skully- none

    Shotguns:

    m1014- none

    spas-12- none

    aa12- ammo buff

    model- damage or ammo nerf

    spas-24- Large damage buff or fire-rate buff

    typhoid- idk

    Donor stuff:

    crossbow- larger delay between arrow shots

    Raygun- spash damage nerf and accuracy nerf

    minifun- Bring back recoil and add a spin-up time

    flame thrower- This one is a complicated one to explain. The basic idea is to make it like shoot tons of tiny bullets that light you on fire and cause a short after burn so it would be like being stuck in a mine-strike Molotov and it would have infinity ammo. It also would have a much shorter range and would overheat if fired for a long time.

    Law- This weapon is by far the worst weapon in mc-war. The idea for a buff would be great for this weapon. The clip size would be reduced to 1 and it would have 3 shots in reserve (scavenger would give back one rocket). It would also have a increased rocket speed and it would oneshot kill anything in the blast radius, which would be increased.

    Many things to disagree with here. The USP is absolutely terrible. A firerate buff and damage nerf would make it easier to use.
    The M16 does not need a nerf, it's bad enough as is.

    This is largely biased towards donor and prestige weapons. Many non prestige weapons are unusable unless you're good. They need a decent buff.

    Sorry to break your bubble, but it's inferior.
    Statistically they're identical, but the Barrett comes with less ammo and has a longer reload.
    However, yes the Barrett does have a nice texture.

    Why does everyone assume that whenever you just buy a gun like law, you think they wanna buy scavenger again? .-.
    3 shots so so useless... No one wants to spend even more.

    Well, it does have a ton of ammo right now... and it's quite unrealistic.
    If this is added in the next update, weapon balancing would likely come with.
    Which means that it could be pretty acceptable.

    @tdaddy14 would strongly disagree with that for sure


    Anyways, these all seem like good ideas, Except for the law buff idea. It seems a little bit op. Maybe just make it so the blast radius stays the same

    He does agree. Because it only fires 9001 nukes per shot. Not good enough.

    I don't see why the M16 possibly needs a nerf. Come back here after you've used it several times.

    trust me. Ive gotten a 10 killstreak with the m16. Its quite OP

    Only players with experience get killstreaks like that. For beginners, it's hard to even get a 3 ks with the M16. If they nerf that gun, then it'll be too hard for a beginner to get a kill with it.

    A beginner gets at most 1 or 2 kills before dying again.
    So..... no. It's not OP,
    Besides, why should a begineer gun get nerfed? They're weak as is. Any advantage they have is a deserved advantage.

    This might just be hardcore skills but my friend that just joined got a 5 killstreak with it.

    The M9 is equal to the magnum I believe so that could use a nerf.
    ISO ammo nerf? I think a fire rate nerf would be better because I can't stand the lack of ammo already in the ISO that's why I use dissa more.
    Barrett should have a slight damage buff because I thought it was the best gun after it was nerfed.
    The Spas-24 should have a slight damage buff, that's why hardly anyone uses it because it's weak. It's range is like a model though so that part is fine.
    The Dissa does not need a buff in my opinion because it's like a 20 shot MSR but with a slower fire rate.

    Yeah, he's probably just more skilled.
    It's not anywhere close to overpowered. If you want overpowered, look at the Skullcrusher.
