    The player is just offset. It's a visual glitch where they appear somewhere where they're not. Sometimes they can be in the ground or hovering in the air like this guy, but it's not hacks.

    This is quite possible. If the player merely stayed at this level the whole time, never moves up or down and appears to be jumping, the player is most likely not hacking and it is just a visual glitch on your side.

    As for a fix, it is impossible as Bukkit has been discontinued with this issue, due to... legal stuff.

    Maybe the bullet knockback brought him up there right after he respawned. I never witnessed an event this extreme however.

    Yeah I was experiencing people floating up in the air like that earlier, seems to just be a client side glitch.
