    I know that this would get you a lot of alerts, but it's an option, so you only get it if you want it.

    You should be able to Watch the chat box and receive alerts when someone says something.

    Then you'd be pinged with alerts every few seconds.....
    You'd get like, 100 alerts each day. v:

    I know, maybe if you wanted to hang around the chat box for a little while, you could use this option. When your doe. Or do t want to anymore you can unwatch it.

    The only reason I'm neutral on this is because of what Brawler stated. How about there be an option where you only watch for chat alerts posted by certain forumers (you decide who you want to watch)?

    Just bought the pro version of shoutbox.

    When you have it open it will now rename the tab when there is a new message.

    I'll make a suggestion for a noise when someone says your name.
    But until then, this is the best I can do.
