Idea Kind of C4

    My WarZ Idea.

    It is a kind of c4 that explode at 20 seconds or earlier. It explodes a explosion of 8x8 blocks.
    You can find it in the zone 4+ and you will only find one in the chest you open, the damage is the same as a grenade. It can not damage other players through walls.
    The texture: it's just like in mc war and the c4 is the same texture. in Zone 4 you can find it in every 25th chest you open, in zone 5 its ca. every 20th chest you open, and in zone 6 it is every 15th chest you open. Its not exactly every 25th, 20th, 15th. chest you open.

    An ice explosion doesn't make sense. Sounds too fantasy-like for me. Also, shears can't be a texture since it's already used for wire cutters.

    Personally, the idea of C4s are something that could be a game changer in both the right and wrong direction.

    The pros to this would open up a larger tactic pool for players. Such as gathering hordes near a C4 and it's detonation kills most of them. Same going to players.

    The cons would be that it would give a large and somewhat unfair advantage to campers. For a new spawn can simply hide in the top of the tower and detonate one on a approaching target (like in the new nether map for example). I mean it wouldn't be enough to kill a full diamond but it would still do some decent damage. Besides, we can do the same thing with grenades. As for the same damage as grenades and already having a set detonation. Possible solution would be to have the C4 actually be able to denotate on command upon placement, yet have it range in explosion size, power, timing, and effect. Here's what I mean.

    Explosion size: So heres something. The explosion size will depend on the zone its looted from.

    In zones 1-2, It can be a 2x2 detonation, zone 3 would be a 4x4, 4-5 would be a 6x6 and zone 6 would have 9x10.

    Power: If your going to have any form of explosive, you'll need to have some oomph.

    Zone 1: 2 and 1/2 heart

    Zone 2-3: 3 hearts

    Zone 4-5: 6 hearts

    Zone 6: 10 hearts

    Any zone (very rare): 12 hearts

    Timing: The set time on a C4 or how long it takes to detonate would be important. Either you need it right away or you want to stack it all up in a room for a lure trap.

    Any zone ranging from 1 second to 2 minutes 12 seconds. Longer detonation is more common.

    Effect: The effects could come as an aftermath and could be a level 2 and 4-6 thing. Though it may sound far fetched as I write this, consider it for when sponge comes out.

    Level 2:

    Thick Smoke: Black smoke in a 10x10 square engulfs players for 12 seconds, giving blindness to people who have been inside the smoke for the whole time.

    Level 4:

    Incendiary: Any player damaged by the C4 will immediately catch on fire for 5 seconds and slowness III for 2.

    Surprise!: Player effected by the explosion will have one of the following. Slowness I for 10 seconds, Infected III for 20 seconds, take +3 hearts of damage, gain haste for 2 seconds, or gain 2 extra hearts for absorption for a whole minute.

    Level 5-6:

    Martyton: Explosion will release one of the following.

    1 in 5 change of 3 grenades at random flying out

    1 in 10 change of 2 molotovs flying out

    1 in 12 change of 5 flashbangs flying out

    1 in 120 change of 20 grenades, 17 molotovs, 4 flashbangs, and 2 smoke grenades flying out.

    Venomous: Explosion will give poison II for 20 seconds, Nausea for a minute, haste for 20 seconds, speed III for 10 seconds, Infected III for a minute, and either fire resistance for 10 seconds or slowness III for a minute.

    Hard Flash: Anyone within a 3x3 block radius of the explosion will gain blindness for 10 seconds followed by fatigue for a minute.

    Dark Smoke: A 12x12 plume of black smoke will appear for 5 seconds. Once the smoke clears, all players effected by the explosion will immediately take +4 and a 1/2 hearts of damage.

    Signal: Explosion will fire out a beacon light for 5 minutes, attracting all zombies within the zone and +10 blocks from the zone towards the light. Zombies will do +2 hearts of damage to the damaged players. Players within a 10 block radius of the zone that have a compass will point towards the beacon light.

    Zone 6:

    Extreme Heat: a 3x3 molotov flame will burn any players within the area. All effected players who were damaged by the explosion/flame cloud will catch on fire until they are 1/2 a heart. Player must get into a source of water 4+ hearts. 3 1/2 and below will not solve the continuous burning.

    Zombie Powder: Player hit by the explosion will become more notable to the zombies outside their range by a 30 block radius of the player aside from their normal line of sight. Player's guns will reload after every shot they fire, making it harder to fight normally. The zombie powder effect lasts 2 minutes and 25 seconds.

    Also voting for 5 Pre Set C4s on a minute set up would be interesting.

    The effects part here is simply optional and probably impossible in some cases, but I decided to do it. Simply opinions, suggestions, and constructive criticism here.
