How to block Skype resolvers

    Hoaw to not get DDoSed

    Skype > Tools > Options > Advanced > Connection > Enable "Allow direct connections to your contacts only."

    If you don't have this option update your Skype


    You can also run your Skype through a free proxy. Grab a proxy from http://hidemyass.com/proxy-list/, search for https or socks5 proxies with high anonymity, speed, and connection time in your country.

    Search with those filters and grab an proxy IP and port and imput it into Skype. Make sure you choose the right proxy type on Skype too.

    Der all done. Make sure you get a new proxy every week or so.

    You could say that a bit earlier... I am allready DDoS'ed thru skype, happy my anti-virus stopped it..

    I don't think antiviruses stop DDoS attacks.

    Even if it denies them, it still has to deal with them, which essentially still overloads it.
    Hell, I don't think antiviruses can even block DDoS at all.
    DDoS is an attack on your internet/router, not your computer.
    Antiviruses protect your computer, not your router.
