New server - Age of chivalry/Total war/Medieval Warfare

    The map is pretty much the same as the Earth we live on atm, altho medieval :V
    The map is divided up in like areas or something like that and those areas can be conquered.
    The areas from the start divided between nations.
    Depending on where an area/region is located that Place has a different climates and biome types.
    In evry area there is some sort of an stratigecal Point like a city, a fort, a castle or an outpost that can be conquered and controlled to gain controll of the entire area.
    Each area supports an certain amount of population. this amount is counted in % so the server will never be like "full" or something like that.
    An area or region also contains natural Resources that can be gathred and used to make wepons, Tools, food and other stuff.
    All the nations have thier own weapons, armours, Cultures, Buildings (in cities and Towns), good and bad sides.
    Inca (South america)
    Extremely rich.. i mean like they had more gold than you would ever imagine in ya wildest Dream

    Wait for it... The Mongols (you know who they were)
    Pretty much all thier guys have horses and they have the best cavalery.

    England
    Longbows: bow that is equaly strong to a crossbow but still takes like 10/time to draw back and fire.

    France
    Best knightly cavalery in the World

    Japan:
    Best infantry and hand to hand combat.

    China:
    Some gunpowder weapons like handcannons and rockets.

    Stuffs:
    Swords: (short and long)
    leftclick - attack
    rightclick - block

    Daggers:
    leftclick - attack
    rightclick - block
    good: higher damage if hit in back
    bad: very short range

    Spears: (short - long)
    leftclick - attack
    hold rightclick - hold spear in fron of you dealing damage to things running in to it (faster = more damage)
    good: ultimate cavalery killing weapon (insane bonus vs horses)
    bad: has a min range so if opponent comes within it your spear will be useless/do very Little damage. (only for long Spears)

    Halberds: (a pike with an axe, has no min range)
    leftckick - attack
    hold rightclick - hold spear in fron of you dealing damage to things running in to it (faster = more damage)
    good: ultimate cavalery killing weapon (insane bonus vs horses)

    Axes: (one and two sided)
    leftclick - attack
    rightclick - (some kinda attack)
    good: pierces a certain % of armor.

    Maces: (big and small)
    leftclick - attack
    rightclick - (some kinda attack)
    good: (some kinda stun/nausea effect to target when hit by rightclick attack)

    Battle Hammers: (big and small)
    leftclick - attack
    rightclick - (some kinda attack)
    good: pierces alot of armor making it an great weapon for killing Knights
    i mean this kinda hammer:

    and not the one you usualy would Think of!

    Bows: (long and short, big and small)
    works like a normal bow.
    good: i love bows >:3
    bad: you easily get run down by cavalery if you do not be on your guard :3

    Crossbows: (Iron, Wood and repeating)
    hold rightclick: load.
    leftclick: fire.
    good: insane damage and armor piercing
    bad: takes a while to load (chinese chu-ko-nu loads fast and has a Magazine of 4-6 bolts)

    Social status stuff.
    theres basicly these ranks or whatever you wanna call em
    king (can only be one)
    priests (religion is Power)
    Knights (we got Heavy armor)
    Trained militia (we got light armor and Spears)
    Craftsmen (we make the Heavy armor)
    peasants (we feed all of those guys above)

    it could as well look as this:
    Shogun (i rule your asses)
    Monk (i meditate alot)
    Samurai (i kill you)
    normal warriors (i dont like dying)
    Craftsman (i make pretty ming vases)
    peasants (i do rice and kentuckyfried chickenputty) <-- was real tired when i wrote dat :V

    lowest ranks/ppls who other pplz dont liek too much
    Murderers (we kill cause we dont feel like waiting for war)
    Criminals (we steal your muny)
    Assassins (we kill you without you noticing it)
    Mercenaries (we kill for muny)

    Well basicly what the different ranks does, they give you different paths to Live your Life.
    For example:
    a peasant produces food for evryone. He makes some other stuff too. He goes to war as militia (not well trained)
    However a Knight might rule over some peasants, he lives in a castle and eat nice food and have fun. he rides to war in shining armor on a White steed and evry1 Thinks hes awesome!
    The priest prays to god and tells you youll go to Valhalla if you die protecting your king and country (heaven, Valhalla, same **** different name) The priest also practice magical arts.

    What will happend when you die you might ask...
    You will have a amount of some kinda Points that will slowly replenish. you will lose some Points each time you die. and if you have like none left and die... you DIE
    but dont worry about that because there will be a systen allowing you to start a new Life somwhere else with a different social and political status!
    Your "lvl" or something like that will work as some sort of system that when you die you loose like 10% of your lvls. BUT those lvls you have left will be able to like start a new Life.
    EXAMPLE:
    you die with 100 "lvls" you loose 10... you now have 90.
    For those 90 you can either choose to be born as a high lvl peasant, a low lvl Knight or maybe a med lvled craftsman. each social status COSTs a certain amount of lvls, you will still have 90 lvls if you are born as a Knight but you can only use like 10 of those lvls to upgrade your character.

    In evry area there is a certain climate, some are colder, some warmer.
    For example if you walk into a very Cold area without any warm clothes or such you for example: become slower. And if you stay too long you will get a frostbite. Fires, glowstone, lava and such will make an area warmer.
    And if you walk into an hot and dry area you might dehydrate and die because you ran out of water.."
    Basicly what magic is: Calling down thunder, shooting fire from the tip of your fingers, give Life to the dead ones, heal people the un-natural way or even killing somone just by looking them straight in the Eyes (code geass approved)
    Magic can be used by anyone but takes alot of skill and practice to use. you also need to be like a wizard, shaman, mage or priest to use any kinds of advanced magic.
    There will be some kind of system with mana and such. A not too powerful spell might cost just a Little bit of mana but a powerful one more.
    Easy spells (Pretty much any1 can lern)
    low lvl healing spells
    Medium spells (Only upper warrior class, magicians and priests)
    low lvl attack spells (stuff that damages opponents)
    med lvl healing spells (healing, self explainatory)
    low lvl enchanging and cursing spells (can make a item stronger/weaker, also works on humans and mobs)
    Advanced spells (Only magicians and priests)
    healing spells (healing, self explainatory)
    attack spells (spells that damage opponents)
    summon spells (summons mobs that can do various stuff)
    enchantment and cursing spells (can make a item stronger/weaker, also works on humans and mobs)

    Some magic is bound to items, for example:
    "legendary blade of doom"
    leftclick: normal attack
    rightclick: charge up a "flying blade" like a wave of energy that will damage any opponent it hits

    Other magic might be used in spells. However spells can be bound to items such as wands.

    Yet other magic might be uniqe to the user. like if somone can Breathe fire for example.

    Your ideas are good but the games you have said in the title are completely different from each other :stuck_out_tongue:

    The weapons are thought out very nicely. I also really like the idea of groups/clans/nation idea.

    It may be kind of ambitious to develop, along with the fact of player limits per "faction". +0 until further details provided.

    I acctually LOVED the idea it should be a new server ( not in classic ) but it may be hard to code but if its get in i will play it

    I would make a MDVL clan, and I would run around swinging my mace at others and to command my mythical fire dragon to burn all my enemies. :grinning:
